It has to be DD/MM/YYYY the American usage is totally illogical but then again the Americans still use the Imperial Unit system even when the country of it's origin moved to the much more logical and systematic metric system.
The chief elements that America is hell is the date notation, the costumary system and the banning of kinder eggs. - And the political system... NOBODY EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION!
