You're right. At most 300 people die yearly from mass shootings. Thousands die from abortions.

and every time I jerk off, millions of sperm die...

Lol! all jokes aside, sperm will never have the ability to have a functioning brain. They also are produced at an extremely fast rate, while you don't get a baby by just sitting astound.

after seeing something science can't explain (a burst of light when sperm fertilizes an egg) i immediately went into the life at conception camp...

Where did you hear that from? That is plainly not true, some like some religious zealots making up 'science' to fool the gullible. There is zero evidence for this, unless you would like to present some.

Ummm look up the northwestern biology study... Plus there is videos all over you tube.... Inform yourself

I don't think you understand the science if you actually read the original report. (I did). There is no burst of light but I can explain it to you. They used fluoresce to detect the zinc which is released from the egg which can then be detected. It is a fairly standard procedure in science to detect reactions and the products produced. It is like telling your kid if you pee in the public pool there is a dye that will show up in the water, unless you are telling me you believe urine is purple..... read the original study not the ignorant takes on what they think it is telling them or what they are trying to read into it.

Congratulations you convinced me of absolutely nothing lol... Energy released... The micro universe is just as real and important as the macro universe

You are free to believe whatever you want, that is you right but the facts don't care what you think!

Come on, mate! I agree with your position but why won't you concede a point after clearly being proved wrong? The reason that life begins at conception is because when you kill the fetus, you kill the possibility of a human being. It doesn't matter if he could grow up to be a school shooter or a benevolent leader, it's still a life! You have no right to take away the chance to accomplish great things from a person, no matter if right now they are just a fetus.

Just drop this in here from Wikipedia lol.... Fluorescence is the emission of light by a substance that has ABSORBED light or other electromagnetic radiation.

The study was published April 26, here is an excerpt.

As the zinc is released from the egg, it binds to small molecule probes, which emit light in fluorescence microscopy experiments. Thus the rapid zinc release can be followed as a flash of light that appears as a spark.

You can't see the forest because of the trees :)... I'm done arguing I realized a long time ago there is wheat and there are tares

His point is that not only was the spark easily explicable by science, it was the result of a chemical reaction actively induced by the scientists performing the experiment.

I'm glad someone understands basic scientific experimental techniques.

Ikr, your point went a tad bit over his head there XD

I honestly don't understand what he didn't understand or didn't think was right. The point was pretty simple: it is scientifically explainable.

Ah your religious, that is why you reject basic science.

And sadly, the WHEAT in the blue states
pays for the TARES in the red.
Y'know, we should all just declare ourselves "corporations" and pay no taxes
(Extra Credit: Yes, I did that; haven't paid a penny in fed taxes in >10 yrs.)
the red states all die for want of our sweet-sweet blue-state tax $.

I can tell you right now that most red states are better than blue States financially. As I previously stated, begone THOT!

So in effect fluorescence was used because the human eye can not see the light in that spectrum:)
reply

No. Not at all. Flouresence is used to "light up" what's otherwise not visible...like a protein. Or in this case zinc.

That's so disconnected from what's actually going on
it's not even wrong.

I'm a living, breathing, born child and I don't think that less guns is going to protect me. It's a much more complex issue than just grabbing guns.

""when you kill the fetus, you kill the possibility of a human being. "" The same could be said of an activity 99.99% of men take part in daily.

A fertilized egg is different from a non-fertilized one. A fertilized egg already has the foundation for intelligent life. It's something sacred. An unfertilized egg isn't and doesn't.
