I wrote damn near the same thing in a meme the difference being republican and I found myself in fb jail for 3 days, your opinion could matter on that situation unless you are fine with it because it works in your favor. Ask around and you'll find a lot of R's are being locked out for expressing their views, or don't.

Oh yea. Liberals are always high a mighty on their views, but if their fews really held water, then why are most of them anti free speech and so quick to press that report button?
It doesn't matter anymore if the meme is offensive or vulgar. It only matters how many ppl can report it.
That's why I know /our/ side will eventually win.

F-F-Fakebook? Guy I know who's sat with me at the same table to eat and used to message me to wonk idiots upside their derpheads on FB debates for him because he's an idiot incapable of forming his own sentences went total Trumpite, then unfriended me for expressing my views, then finally blocked me for liking an opinion contrary to his. One 'tough guy' sent me pics of his p**is enlarging gun and a wad of $$ because I disagreed with him on sweet Jayzuz. And no, he was no hoodrat, he was a middle aged guy from down - guess where? yup! (Sadly the poor guy apparently got lost en route because I gave him simple directions to get here. He also blocked me.)

Have you not been paying attention to what's been TIKI TIKI going on?

YOUR side? What side is that? You're being exploited, by BOTH sides - which are really only one (ever wonder why Dems always cave in so quickly even when they have the Repubs by the balls?). Never half right. If wrong, I simply don't say it. This way no need to lie about it afterwards like these left/rightards do here all the time.

E-C-O-N-O-M-I-C C-Y-C-C-L-E. Not which of the two IDENTICAL parties (oh gee, the Dems like queers and non-Cuban Latins a tad more, boo hoo, and they're against 5yos owning RPGs and the Repubs are gonna outlaw abortion one day but not today) is in charge.

In his second year, the average working American got a nice letter and check from George W for a whopping extra $250 tax refund. Obama gave TEN times that -$2500 - but YOU never heard about it. He was always a modest fellow.

Taxes go down for corps and rich, not average folks, and sorry hun, you ain't a 1%er.

You should read up on TRUMPS policies, he tweets them, ya know. Jizzing how you got a zillion dollar taxcut on yours but blaming Dems for something written into the Repub bill really doesn't allay the image of ignorance amongst the generally less educated - BY CHOICE - and willfully uniformed demographic that is their main base.

Google, "Gerrymandering" - the only reason there still IS a viable Republican Party.

PS: "First we take their guns, then we'll give them due process second" - which President said that 3/1/18?

HINT: It weren't Obama.

You and the rest of the 99% minions will see their taxes go higher than they had ever been ever.
You will blame the Dems, as you already are.

Humans. Ya gotta lov em.
2 ups
Well you're only half right here Jack. since we've seen democrats and republicans became the most prominent parties, each has enjoyed 30-40 years of dominance. (Executive, house, senate.)Only recently have we seen one party have presidential control, and not the house or Senate.
Now we're seeing republicans dominate again. When it comes to history we can be making assumptions like you seem to be doing.
And yes, generally democrats are to blame for higher taxes. They push for the state to control. If they get in they'll have a chance to not let the tax breaks expire.
They won't.
But I see what you're getting at. But I don't know if you see that if the dems do regain power, that they'll get their heightened taxes, like they want anyway. They'll be happy with it, setting up repubs to regain or continue to take senate and house seats.
It's a good plan. Genius really.

Lol. Here's that faulty argument.
It used to be that the left was all on the side of womans rights, but now that it's come out that Hollywood and all the supposed advicators are actually rapists and sexual assaulters themselves, the argument has evolved into ALL men.
Instead of fixing or owning up to your bs, you play that card.
Nah, uh, not gonna work.
reply
4 ups, 2 replies
Not sure why you're trying to make this a partisan issue. The sexual assault crisis in this country is societal. So if anyone is playing a card right now, that would be you trying to point fingers at the Democrats, while a Republican president has over 20 accusers himself. Instead of trying to lay blame on the victims, which is what you're doing right now since I am one, maybe you should ask yourself why even bringing this up right now triggers you to such an extent...

Plus in you meme you generalized "men" not some men. That's how I came to believe you meant all men.
I don't know whether you're a boy a girl or some other made up b.s. I wish men didn't **pe too, but this 3rd wave b.s. feminism is not without blame.
They've made it so even holding a door open is offensive, (which when a man does that for me i consider it gentlemanly) so if you don't need men to protect you, then you relize you can't protect yourself, don't come looking for men to help you.
reply
2 ups, 1 reply
I said "a man," singular. I don't know about the feminist wave you speak of. I don't know any of these feminists personally. And by saying "fake Hollywood fake feminist movement," are you implying that the people coming out recently about their stories of getting assaulted to shed light on the problem and hopefully eradicate it are all liars? Because I'm not lying about what happened to me. I don't know why anyone would lie about something so horrible.
reply
2 ups, 1 reply
Oh course bring light to this matter is a good thing. I think you're trying to tippy to around this fact.
Im saying, Maui, that this feminist movement out of Hollywood ONLY happened, because of Harvey Weinstein being caught, therefore began the outing of the hordes of sexual assaulters in Hollywood. Before that they were the high and mighty, intellectual elite, who do no wrong and lecture everyone else on the subject. Now that it comes out they they never were, and they were lying and taking the act, (in which everyone knew for years) they just chose to blame all men.
I'm sorry for happened to you, but you realize that your type feminazism, is only turning the large majority of woman against your falsely conceived movement. They see how you generalize and accuse all men. Which you did.
reply
1 up, 1 reply
I didn't and I don't. I know there are good guys out there. I'm married to one, I'm related to one, friends with some, etc. The movement is not my movement. I found commonality with it, but I don't know how long it will last or how much effect it will ultimately have.

Plus, I'm with you about the hypocrisy in Hollywood. I support the Rose McGowans because I've been there and seen just how far-reaching it is in that industry. "The casting couch" could easily be called "the **pe couch." But there are also plenty of women there and in all industries sleeping their way to the top. It's a double-edged sword. We were all complicit in the coverup but it wasn't always because of the money.

I didn't talk about what happened to me for decades. Why? I'm still not sure. I didn't think anyone would really care or there was any point. It's nice to be able to now. It's nice to know people out there do care what happened to me and thousands of young girls/women.
reply
2 ups, 1 reply
I'm happy you found something to help you.
And I'm glad we can agree on the hyprocisy of Hollywood.
But I just wanted to make sure you recognized that they only apologized once they realized they were caught, instead of calling out their own people, Oprah, ppl like that.
They changed it into ALL men. Which ppl like rose did.
They only care about it now that they are caught.
I'd just be careful of the people who you choose to confide in and they're motives on this issue. Are they genuine or just backpedaling to save face.
reply
0 ups, 3 replies
That's the problem with Hollywood. Everyone is so worried about stepping on toes or just being careful who they're associated with. They all finally came out about Weinstein but I'm sure there are many others who are probably more powerful that no one is talking about yet...

Sure.
But this is the irony of it all.
Now we're living in a world were accusations of sexual misconduct are grounds for termination prosecution and atleast tarnishment of legacies.
When the real monsters are running free and starting fake movements. A year ago I believe ppl on your side were applauding Hollywood for their stance.
Now we find out they were the biggest perpetrators of all.
This whole 3rd wave feminism movement is a joke a fraud and a farce.
It misrepresents REAL victims and real feminists, like myself.
It's a joke.
And I'm sorry if I misrepresented what you said, but you're clearly socially engineered and I think you're in need of a red pill, or two.
0 ups
The real monsters have been running free for decades, centuries? I'm sure there are false accusations out there. But there are real ones, too. And so many more who don't even speak up. I don't ascribe to any one movement or like to label myself. Feminism to me has always had problems. Just like Metoo and Timesup there are hypocrisies inherent. I identify with aspects of feminism but it's not my movement, either. I have always been an independent thinker and just because we disagree doesn't mean that's not true. You care about the victims and feminists yet you support a misogynistic president with 20 + accusers. Where's your solidarity? How can you make excuses for the woman-hating sexual perv we have running our country?

I see through bullish*t and I decide for myself.

I wonder if these people getting sex change operations realize they've been used for medical research for reasons that haven't been fully disclosed.

If we want to really address mental health issues we need to look for the most reliable researchers that are totally absent in the media and political discussion but can be found in libraries and good alternative media outlets, not to be confused with the ones that really are crazy.

There are two things that bother me about this.

1) Forcing the majority to adhere to anti science as if it's scientifically plausible.

2) Forcing children to surgically change their sex or force pills down their throats to change their sex because they happened to mention they feel like the opposite sex.

Outside of that, if you're a grown adult and you want to change your sex, more power to you. But don't force me to adhere to your opinion and call me a bigot if I don't.

"1) Forcing the majority to adhere to anti science as if it's scientifically plausible."

The majority support transgender people these days. Secondly, the science is plausible because if you look at the brain structure of transgender individuals, the structure is actually different from those of cisgender individuals.

"2) Forcing children to surgically change their sex or force pills down their throats to change their sex because they happened to mention they feel like the opposite sex. "

Show me where that is actually happening.
reply

It is not scientifically plausible. Biology (which is part of science) in humans tells us it is male and female. And the majority do not accept it. That's delusion talking or wishful thinking.

It's happening in the UK moreso right now, but there are cases here in the states of parents forcing their children on harmones. Or should I say, allowing them to take harmones when the child says they feel like the opposite sex. I'm assuming you're an adult so you can do the research on it. There are many stories of this happening.

Biology is something that changes dynamically as science does. It doesn't stay the same as it did in an 80's textbook.

As Americans, I feel it is out of our right to criticize the United Kingdom, partially because they have Her Majesty the Queen, but mainly because you can tell how good a country is just by looking how passenger rail service is ran, and the UK's passenger rail service is comparatively better than that of the United States. This is also why countries like France, Germany, and Japan are top notch countries.

Science doesn't change, only the things we learn about it do. Science should not be based on feelings, but should be based on facts. And facts don't care about your feelings.

"As Americans, I feel it is out of our right to criticize the United Kingdom, partially because they have Her Majesty the Queen,"

I'm not even sure where you were going with this. What does the Queen have to do with my opinions on how their country is run or where it's headed? Not to sound rude, but I don't give two shits about their Queen or their "royal family." I have an opinion about their political system and for the most part I disagree with it.

The science is not based on feelings, hence it being disconnected from the Bible.

I was being sarcastic about Americans not being allowed to criticize Britain. I criticize Britain all the time, particularly for Brexit (though I come from British background, I was born in America). Been through this already. No, it is still not differently structured. That's simply ludicrous.
The closest to that is that M-A-L-E-S (because that's what they are, otherwise there'd be no need to want to change from being a male) who have trans issues may have smaller brains than average males. Women have smaller brains as well, yet same structures (somewhat thinner cerbral cortex, more developed hypothalamus).

Science, NOT silliness.

There is evidence from the interior of fossil crydont skulls going back 260 million years that they already had structures inherited by later mammals which descended from them, and distinct from reptiles and birds, etc.
Those structures didn't change for an artificial group created by social media this decade.
Even that pretty diagram you posted shows no new structure, but a supposed malformation of an existing one shared by ALL mammals (verifying, btw, what you quoted me stating).

A political agenda and its propaganda promulgated by the interwebz puts forward no more valid facts than the nonsense of eugenics, Nazis, and their ilk which have sought to extinguish those of such inclinations, so shush. You're not helping any movement with such silly segregative psuedo science except the for opposition.
reply

"Utter bullshit."

Nice argument.

"Those structures didn't change for an artificial group created by social media in the last decade or so."

Where's the evidence that transgenderism was merely created by social media?

"A political agenda and its propaganda is no more valid science than that of eugenics, Nazis, and their ilk who have sought to extinguish those of such inclinations, so shush. You're not helping any movement with such inane segregation."

I like that way of thinking. However, evidence on transgenderism is found in actual scientific findings, not propaganda. Meanwhile, arguments against transgender people have usually been created without statistical basis.
reply
0 ups
Well I did re-edit it, leaving "Utter bullshit" out. Bad tendency of mine, posting, redoing, then reposting a comment minutes later, so that's on me anyways.

In terms of social media, in a sense, accepted science of the day is shaped by the then accepted norms, or at least, in a climate heading in that direction. Freud's theory on neurosis is a classic example, shifting from a condition caused by molestation to one fantasizing it because Vienese high society - the source of his patients - frowned on the aspect of the prevelance of abuse amongst its ranks.

Lobotomies, electro shock, nembutal mega dosing - once accepted as necessary in treating schizophrenia, severe depression, homosexuality, etc.

The burning at the stake of yore to extinguish demons and the bodies the possessed.

Stoning.....

My use of the term "mental disease" was sarcastic, though might not be percieved that way by many given the rest and tone of what I printed. It was meant to harken back to those days as well as ridicule current movements meant to broaden understanding but which in effect can ultimately cause more schism. Explaining is one thing, but double edged in that it can be used by the opposing camp wishing to contain, control, condemn.

I've been getting too harsh in recent years, trolls coming from all sides, sticking their agenda in everyone's eyes. Try to quell one reactionary view, and along comes another which the first points to as justification of their zealotry. I get aggravated with everyone, so my b!tchiness can get a bit much.

It's not a different structure you referred to, but the same structures shaped or proportioned differently. "Malformed" was also sarcastic, in that bigots can refer to such in a derisive manner as proof of the illness they wish to percieve.
But casaulity has not been established, nor what such differences truly are indicative of. Those, for example, raised in stressful enviroments exhibit changes in brain size and less development in some areas. Those raised in violent homes show alterations in areas that permanently affect their emotions, rendering love, sympathy, empathy, etc, muted.
So what shapes these structures is not clear. Engender, or the result of? Symptomatic of a related yet different condition?

That is my real view on the matter.

Now I can go back to being an asshole.
