Your words are not as authoritative as those in the bible. I'm gonna go with what 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 says because Jesus is the one who changed my heart and affections. He has also done the same for people that I know personally.
If it takes God to stop beating slaves, then I have a lot to questioning about one's morals. Besides, if the slave is beat, and gets up after about two days, then the owner isn't punished. Why is that moral?
