Haha, I never liked Poison and the like. I grew up with pre-commercialized Metallica (which is an opinion) Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and GnR. GnR was borderline, but I like Slash's style.

Yeah,me too.What I listen to varies from Classic rock,over Hard Rock,into the Metal realm where I often visit Heavy,Thrash,Doom,Death and Black Metal,and my home sweet home,Power Metal.Damn,this site has more metalheads than I expected!

I listen to everything but gospel and most new pop music. Really Led Zeppelin expanded my music taste. They did a little of everything. They are not strictly a hard rock band. I'm finding most of the ones I chat with are in my age range. Call me an old rocker at 47. Haha

We're pretty close to the same age. I was more of a Van Halen and AC/DC guy.

I never grew a mullet though. Not that I didn't try, my hair just wouldn't cooperate.

I started with Southern Rock. Skynyrd, Hatchet, Allman Brothers... Metallica came along and opened up a new scene for me. Where has the time gone?
