What an interesting and totally unbiased article. If God is angry over their "ignorance", then why isn't he expressing it?

Christ allows Satan to do things that God does not do. The more wickedness in someone's life, the more likely He'll allow Satan to influence that individual. But Satan can only do as much as God allows.

Sometimes, however, God will allow us to get what we want, but we soon realize that what we wanted wasn't in God's plan and it fails to benefit us.

"Satan can only do as much as God allows." Wow..what a twisted thought. So, God allows cancer in innocent children. God allows children to get raped. God allows children to get their legs blown off in train stations and battlefields...but it's all OK because God doesn't actually DO it. He just allows Satan to do it. That, in my opinion, is even worse.

The old "think of the children" argument. Seems to always get an emotional reaction from someone. Gun violence in the inner cities and we must push gun control because "won't someone think of the children?"

God gave man (Adam and Eve, man meaning mankind) a set of rules to follow. Rule #1) Worship me and praise my name in all that you do. Rule #2) Don't eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. That's it. Simple, right?

Man chose to break the second rule. God did not cause man to sin against Him, man did. Once Adam took a bite from the forbidden fruit, sin entered. And once sin entered, bad things happen, due to that sin.

So bringing up the children and how horrible it is to allow them to suffer in some way, is not a good argument against how God operates.

Umm Ok God says Incest is wrong. Since you brought up Adam and Eve. Who did their kids mate with? Did he condone incest with the first people and then later rescind it? Sounds like God broke his own rule.

No, the gay community gets AIDs. And before you tell me anyone can get AIDs, I know this, but the highest percentage of those who contract the disease are homosexuals.

Just because the highest percentages of those with AIDS are homosexuals doesn't mean heterosexuals can't contract it either.
Also, how does AIDS prove God's existence? Or that He's angry with the gays? Not all of the gays have AIDS, nor do all of the LGBTQ.

Homosexuality has been around since at least Sodom and Gamora. If you aren't familiar with this, the Bible talks about the wickedness of that city. It wasn't just homosexuality, but a wide array of sins the population was engaged in. God destroyed the city due to its wickedness and the people's unwillingness to ask for forgiveness of their sins.

I'm not saying AIDs is a direct result of homosexuality, but sometimes God allows things to happen due to man's sin. Not every homosexual will contract AIDs, but a good portion will. I have done some things in my past which was a direct contradiction of God's will and I had to pay for it in various ways.

And I did already mention that I understand that not only homosexuals can contract AIDs. Drug addict that use dirty needles are also at a high risk. Anyone who sleeps around, even with protection, can get it. It's all a sin in God's eyes.

Still, I don't think I follow through God's way of loving his people because some of the ways he punishes them, including death. If anything, he's shown more appreciation for other animals more than he has for humans.

But it does advocate a 'just' man handing his own two daughters over to be raped by the village men in exchange for the safe passage of the two guests he had never known prior.

Funny how the pastors leave that part out of their fire & brimstone sermons.

God's love for us is immeasurable. Humans are not capable of love that grand. And every punishment God gives us, is just. We deserve nothing less than Hell.

If he does, then maybe he should give LGBTQ children the accepting parents they truly deserve, rather than forcing many of the teens in our community into suicide.

God ("ho logos") doesn't punish. We punish ourselves, because we think we know, but we don't. Buddhism says, the root of all problems is ignorance - this is real inisght, and the greatest ignorance is to think you know what the basic truths are (this is the reason why humanity is in such extreme trouble presently). That's all.

He isn't forcing anyone into suicide or any type of punishment. We chose to sin, He didn't force it onto us. Our sins are what causes this pain.

And I can't speak for all parents, but accepting their child's sinful lifestyle, doesn't mean they stop loving that child. Some, I'm sure, do, but those are just rotten parents to begin with. And the suicide isn't the parent's fault. The individual who goes through with it is the ultimate decider.

Technically, the idea that being LGBTQ is a choice was debunked by scientific findings, such as different brain structure or hormone construction.
