Well, I'm not even saying that liberals who criticize the concept even understand what it fully means in the Christian context, rather that the idea of something they never did bothering them in that instance but not in the SJW instance. Not all Christians believe in "original sin." The Orthodox don't, for example, and prefer to refer to it as the fallen state of mankind as I understand. Anyway, there is at least some universality in this; no one is perfect and we are all bound to do something which is immoral, that is a given. But to take blame for slavery when most people didn't even own slaves (or, for that matter, may not have even had family in the country at the time, or may not even be from a country which had a slave trade at all), that's just crazy.
