A perfect example of phony liberals . That rally was highly publicized , a true liberal would have ignored it and stayed away .

I can't believe they're blaming trump for this. Oh wait, yes I can. Apparently he's to blame for everything.

Originally they were trying to stop a historic monument from being torn down. In our society you can't have quotes from the Bible on display at city, state or federal buildings. You can't have sports teams with remotely offensive names, even though they've been established for years. White kids in school are taught how bad they're forefathers were because all the history books have been rewritten. And the list goes on and on. Hats off to the protesters for making a stand. The event was peaceful until the counter group showed up. I wonder what really happened.

Well, at least one of their members served peacefully in the US Senate. His name was Robert Byrd. I still can't find a word of condemnation for him from ANY Democrat. Perhaps we should remove his name from all the buildings and erase him from the Senate record completely. If you don't agree you are obviously a racist.

You mean the Byrd that continued to use racial epithets up to the day he died? THAT Robert Byrd that '...apologized a thousand times"? Yeah, because if you apologize and continue the behavior - that's still being a racist.

Have you thought about what it would take to remove his name from all the various places in WV?! LOL I think they have random drinking fountains with his name on them.

It was peaceful until someone had the nerve to stand there with signs disagreeing with the KKK. There's a video on Facebook of the torch bearers descending upon anti-kkk protesters who were outnumbered 50 to 1 at UAV. There are plenty of videos out there of the coward hitting the woman who did nothing to him, not to mention the guy in the Dodge ramming into the crowd. Are you seriously defending the violence from the KKK? Are you still wondering what happened? What more proof do you need?

The man who rammed the crowd was a Bernie supporter. Not that it matters, because I don't think what party you're affiliated with or who you support politically has anything to do with why you decided to kill people you disagree with.

The first thing mainstream news did when showing this murderer's face is say he was a registered republican, as if being a republican made him do it. I remember many instances during Obama's administration where he called out white cops as being racially motivated and calling out average Americans for being hate-filled when they condemned Islamic terrorists for shooting up gay night clubs or bombing buildings. Now we have the Obama loving media condemning alt-right p*ssies for violence and ignoring the alt left like Antifa and BLM whenever they burn down businesses and beat people with bike locks, giving them concussions.

It's hypocrisy, and you should know that.

Earlier today I heard a guy on Christian radio mention the KKK (in reference to this weekend's violence), and he just couldn't stop himself from saying that it was Democrats who founded it. Last time I checked, the Democrat party of today condemns the KKK 100%. It's annoying (and amusing) when people who don't like liberals have to go back a century or more to try and find something bad with which to associate us.

Keep in mind I'm not saying you are doing that; I'm just pointing out that I'm hearing it a lot lately.

Your above above statement is hypocritical, because you're always going back millennia to prove your "points" aren't you octavia-ward. ;)

Take your own advice. Neo-nazis and KKK were the tiny, fringe minority of people there but the media blows their numbers out of proportion by only showing THEM.

I blame the anti white rhetoric for this.
Even in my life I'm told that being white is somehow bad. You get told your a pos long enough you either believe it or you conjure up feelings of resentment. Its human nature. These guys give the alt-light a bad name.
