Unrelated image but a related comment. Here is a tip that works for me occasionally. There is no delay on custom template images when making meme comment images. If I go back and submit those images, occasionally they feature very quickly. The downside is they may not appear near the top of the list of images on your profile page, so users might miss it if they are checking your profile front page and they aren't scrolling through "latest"

Yeah mine have been taking up to 48 hours to feature lately and getting almost no views. Seems it used to not take so long even for new images. Frustrating

I hear you, but there's absolutely nothing anyone can do about longer feature times for original images. They're always going to take longer than standard ones. The mods have to visually approve original templates. If they don't, we'll be seeing outright porn and gore on the site.

The best thing to do is to encourage users scroll through Latest, and upvote and comment on good memes they see there. That at least has a chance of evening things out a bit.

Me wishing I had taken the time to make my meme over fresh. Still waiting for it to feature. Other two already have.

All three of my submissions today were made with custom templates and each featured in less than a half hour. The trick to that was they were all creations from meme comments I made yesterday. I just went to my images, added tags and a title them and submitted them.
