I didn't say anything about supporting politicians who spend to send women to impoverished countries...What I'm saying is that Saudi Arabia is extremely intolerant of someone with a different viewpoint, especially women. In the United States, women who complain about having less rights than men are just trying to get attention.

Have you BEEN to Saudi Arabia lately? I don't think there are a whole lot of women's rights conventions going on there. And yes, women in the united States who complain about having less rights than men do want attention. I'd want attention too if I had to worry about my reproductive rights taken away by this clown circus of an administration.

I wasn't brushing aside rape and incest, however rape and incest make up such a small percentage of cases where abortion is performed that it isn't worth arguing the benefits of abortion. While I tend to believe that all forms of abortion is wrong, including cases of rape and incest, I will definitely soften my views when it comes to those cases. However, that isn't the argument here. My original statement was that no one has the right to terminate an innocent life.

Since you like to bring up ancient text from the Bible, the Bible also says that God knew us before we were conceived and knew the number of hairs on our head before the world was created. That right there tells me that we are all a unique creation loved by a divine being and we have no right to tell God that His creation does not matter by destroying it before it has a chance to live.

If I was in the Bible, I wouldn't kill children even if they were an "evil" nation. I'd look into their sweet, beautiful eyes and learn they are just as innocent as my children (if I had children), not a creation of Satan or someone wicked, though what did God have against the Canaanites exactly..?
