I know how to do it in theory, but with my luck I'd stall it or be in a very jerky ride.
Having driven all but 3 years of my driving life in a major city a manual transmission just makes more sense to me. If I lived somewhere rural a manual might make sense.
It has manual mode, I'm sure it would be fun. Sport mode coming down one of the ramps from Mall of America KICKS ASS! The horsepower and acceleration (even at highways speeds) is awesome.
Before I retired from pulling an over the road tanker I went to buy me a new car! the salesman tried to sell me a manual shift because they didn't have what I wanted in an automatic! I said hell I shift gears for a living when I come home and get in my car I don't wanna be shifting damn gears! Many times I'd get in that Nissan and be trying to hit the clutch lol :

LOL@the Nissan "clutch"! A farm in Alabama on farm equipment is where most of my clutch driving has been.
With the clutch pressed in, press on the gas slightly. You're not trying to rev to impress the girls, just rev it a little. Then ease off the clutch. Practice it until you can do it more smoothly.
CHEERS!!!

I know how to, it's just a matter of never having done it. It wouldn't be pretty at first, but I could probably get it done.
