I took some time to think about the wording of my comment, and I sound like a douche, I come off as a douche, and I would like to reword my comment. No matter what we choose to do regarding the refugees, people will die, and I have experienced very few deaths in my life, compared to the deaths in the world and the middle east. SO, rather than say I don't give a shit, let me put it like this, I don't understand. I can't understand what is like to have a loved one stuck in a bullshit country full of death and murder and discrimination. But looking at it objectively a choice must be made, and a country has the right to protect it's people before outsiders, do I think that is the correct move? I don't know. But it's the move we as a country have decided to make. Maybe I owe them an apology, maybe they owe me one, but regardless, it's not about what I think. It's about what WE think as a collective.
