The point is, the electoral college was designed so that the most populous states don't determine the presidency. It gives the "fly over" states a voice.

I do not get why some people except being told by an old outdated policy that they are "not intelligent enough to have a direct vote" People just turn a blind eye and except "EVERYTHING" the government shoves down their throats! Why is CA so blue? Because the electoral college discourages republicans from even placing a vote. Why is WY so red? Because the electoral college discourages democrats from even placing a vote. It is absurd that how your neighbors vote in a national election has such a big influence.

I know I was a staunch proponent of a Hillary presidency, but it wasn't until AFTER Trump won that I found out he is a true friend of Israel. That in itself is enough to like the fact that he was elected because I am not sure where Hillary stood, and I know Obama was more of a friend to those Arabs/Muslims who would seek to destroy every Jew on the planet!

I am not a fangirl for any scumbag politician. I'm aware that none of those rich jerks give a crap if any of us lives or dies save for how it can put another few dollars in their pocket.

...and having had bombs actually blow up in busses not far from my home, and missiles falling not far from my home, I can tell you first hand what it is like to feel the ground shake, smell burning flesh and plastic, and find shrapnel near a bus stop one frequents. I would bet that while Trump is in office, we'll be getting bombed again because apparently the politicians don't care about us, and we're just cannon fodder. War is very profitable in this region. I don't bank my security on politicians.

If Trump supports Bibi, then he supports that millions of dollars are currently being stolen from Israel's retired military and police. So he's not supporting me. He's costing me. We're being taxed more to get less. Bibi is taking money from us, and will get more from Trump to support the never ending war, and we, the people in Israel, will see none of that.

Don't believe the hype. Neither is a friend of Israel. They're both friends of money. That's it. They do whatever their corporate sponsors tell them to.
