You may be right. I'm no Muslim, but I do know that most Muslims disagree with a lot of things that have a similar effect to people being gay. Also, maybe more people in the US who are Muslim are drifting slowly away from the traditional Muslim ways. Their home country may still despise gay people as much as they despise Christians. My political views has nothing to do with my intelligence and I already know that Muslims frown at LGBT community. Besides, while there are liberal extremists, not every left wing person is this way. Some see the problems with our nation that can't be solved with right wing people and others such as me, are put in situations where it's only logical to lean one way or another. Look at me. My dad always struggles with cash and tells about how his childhood was devoid of money. He keeps telling me I'll be nothing if I don't work hard. Yes it's true that gay rights have been an issue in the US, but we're talking about rights. There's a big difference between gay marriage being illegal and gay people being in danger or being killed. A Muslim killed 50 gay people in the US.

Many more gay people are attacked and killed in Islamic countries. If you go to that link it references a Pew poll that shows that most Muslims believe in sharia law which not only means women and gays don't have rights, it means things like adultry and homosexuality is punishable by death, still to this day.

Every time Muslims become the majority of a country's population they overthrow the government and implement sharia law. Even in Indonesia that's often used as an example that Islam can be civilized, sharia is starting to be used.

No problem, and it is true that polls aren't definitive or absolute. However sharia law is actually dictated by the governments of Islamic countries to be the laws of the land, so even if a Muslim didn't like a certain rule, it wouldn't matter. It'd be like us saying well I don't like this or that law, it's not going to change.

Oh hey you apologized! Thank you! I didn't see that somehow when I commented above. I would never request everyone in a workspace to go gluten free, but I would legitimately need a safe table to avoid getting sick. I do deeply agree that people shouldn't yammer on about it, but you must inform newcomers of it to avoid illness, so on occasion at social events I might sound like a bit of a broken record. I haven't seen what southpark did about it but it's probably amusing. Southpark is usually so completely zany I'm honestly surprised that people take offense at it. Have a good day!

Um it's a genetic disorder, not a freak-out. I legitimately have my immune system shut down if I ingest gluten protein over 20ppm. We have to buy "fancy" gluten free food, which costs loads more than "normal" food and means we have less to go around. Also kids at school bully me by sticking crumbs into my lunchpail, which makes me sick. I was diagnosed by blood test so I'm not over-reacting. I probably shouldn't have commented here though; I don't want to be the next braggy vegan. Please explain though, do you find anything bad or unfair about feminists? Just asking politely.

I believe in ABSOLUTE equality. No partiality. My mother, while in college, had to maintain a pretty high GPA to keep her scholarship, while a black student with the same scholarship only had to maintain a GPA that was .5 less (I don't remember the exact numbers, just the difference). I actually find this demeaning to blacks, saying they're not smart enough to make the grade. More of them don't complain because of human nature (imgflip.com/i/17hrce) (which is also why Socialism fails: people take the path of least resistance).

Yeah thank you. I usually won't bring up things if they do not apply to me. The reason the word gluten is all over the place is partially because diagnosis technology is improving, meaning more people can return to a heathy mental state/body weight since more people can tell what's wrong with them, but it's also because gluten free is a "trend". I get extremely tired of people saying things like "yeah I tried that diet but, like, it didn't work." There's an upside to the trend though: more safe food on the market. Anyway, you make a very kind apology.Yes, I also believe in absolute equality, and think there is indeed such a thing as a bad 'feminist', in fact there are a lot who don't even really understand the word. I don't believe it means women are better, I think it means women are people too. For example, though, it affects men, too: women can wear pants but men shouldn't wear skirts, ECT. But I think it's actually rather amusing to poke fun at the 'extremists' who are actually going against basically all of feminism.
