I lived in TN for years and there were no Starbucks near us, I have moved back to Chi now and I still need a cup of coffee when I wake up, still haven't tried Starbucks!

If I lived next to one and had the money, I'd live on that stuff like it was crack.

Haha, once they gave me someone else's. I'm drinking this, wondering why there's caramel in my Java Chip frapp, so they gave me the right one and let me keep the other too. Gosh, that was wonderful,,,

That's the great thing about Starbucks, if they screw up, then it's free.

hate to admit it but starbucks' espresso drinks are better than most other places.. the best drip coffee i've ever had is philz - it replaced peet's for me when i lived in CA...

Go to Starbucks to do a lot of reading if you have a day off. As long as you're sitting in there, you can get 50¢ refills. Also, speaking of just plain coffee, Dunkin Donuts might actually charge more per ounce. Can't remember off the top of my head.

That's good info! I didn't realize they gave cheap refills. I honestly would rather have the $1.59 iced coffee from McDonald's than any other coffee around. :-)
