I don't agree with rioting, but these people are in hopeless, very poor, very dangerous communities where police tend to harrass and sometimes kill them.
I wonder how YOU'D be mentally, in that environment....
Actually I've lived in that very type of community. It's the disrespect for others and their property that makes them poor and dangerous. I might feel scared but I wouldn't be out committing crimes.
I have, too. I live in a semi-decent hood now. The difference? People who value community and knowing everybody, and who take pride in what's theirs. (sidewalks/streets...walls, bus stops etc)
