Are you a bike messenger? And if so could you please explain to me the appeal? A lot of those I meet in Portland seem to have issues. Like getting in front of me in the beer line.

I used to be one in San Fran. For me it was a bridge job for about three months between end of college and a career. I love cycling, so it was a good fit. I have to admit adrenaline was part of the appeal for me. It was and is very dangerous, time is money, so corners are cut, traffic laws to get more deliveries in per day. Portland as in Full Sail or as in Shipyard?

You'd be dead in Portland. Full Sail is in Portland along with a gazillion other breweries. There are those who make bike messengering a career here and I don't understand that. I assume it's masochism.

I understand the need to make a living, but I avoid taprooms where bike messengers congregate. There are issues of 'tude.
