To start off, my ex was born on Christmas day, we were married the day before Christmas, our youngest daughter is named Noel, and I've done Santa gigs for decades.
One year, she decides our place was nig enough we could put the tree up early. She had it up on labor day. It got some states, but it really got attention, when, Halloween night, the trick or treaters came to the door and there I was in full Santa regalia. It was worth the looks on their faces to have them see Santa kpen the door with the house all decorated for Christmas. Of course, it was confusing as many of the kids weren't even born in this country. As they walked away with their goodies (you don't walk away from Santa empty handed) I cried out "Feliz Navidad"!!!
So start early and let the confusion begin.
Footnote: yes, that is me in uniform above with my son. No, he didn't follow in his old man's footsteps, but then, neither did I.
