I think she's back though, I saw a new user with "housewife" in the name or something, and she's commenting a lot. So, maybe she came back just a little while later after that, it's gonna suck having to get all those points again... shouldn't take her too long though.

I've thought about deleting my account DOZENS of times because of tedcruz, but I just couldn't... rarely thinking about it now that he's gone now.

The only thing I will add to this conversation is what is mentioned in my meme linked to above. I was talking to a friend about something and will be providing no further context. Because I know she will be deleting the new account as well I believe that will remove her comment below. The key part of her message is/was that she was excited to see the level of concern when she deleted her original account. She enjoyed her time here, but after making her goal of getting to the leaderboard "it's time to get back to reality."

That's cool, I'm just perplexed at the suddenness of her exit, I found it really odd. I'm not judging anyone here, I liked her memes and she was very pleasant to talk to. Just so sudden, maybe I'm reading into it too much? I don't know? People just don't disappear like that without something else behind it.....wish her the best....

I know everyone has questions and is surprised, I was caught off guard too, but from my involvement, I dont feel comfortable discussing further. I am keeping in touch with her and who knows, maybe in a couple of months I can convince her to back (unlikely though).

Yea, I can see that. I worked hard like you or anyone else, one hurricane I chased I did very well, but in doing work like we do, you know your body isn't going to last too long, so I did my best to prepare, my divorce almost wrecked it, but I managed to make something work. I rent out my excavators, I don't have much to do for that to work, thank god!

My brother had a tree service for years, I'd work with him if I didn't have anything going. With hurricanes all I take is a bobcat (I prefer my Takeuchi TL 150) with a grapple bucket, you pile everything on the side of the road. I have a lot of friends in the tree service industry, I'll go with them and drag the tractor with me. I can make $250-$600 a day. I've been talking with them and watching the weather. Hurricanes were almost relied on every year, if you chased at least one, you'd have a good year. Last hurricane for me was in Texas when Galveston Island was hit and Houston. Ten years ago I think?

We don't get too many of those here for some reason. I did ride out a 2 in a va beach hotel once to see what it was like. I wont do that again, the building swayed.

I've been self employed for 20 years, I'll do whatever I think I can make some money on. Prostituting myself to rich young women didn't work out, imagine that? Lol :)

If this hurricane/Tropical storm hits Florida and does what I'm hoping it will do (I don't want anyone hurt, of course!) I'm heading there the second the storm passes. I may even go sit in South Georgia and let it pass over me and go. Early bird gets the worm!

Yeah, I feel you on this. The implication seems to be that ImgFlip users live in a fantasy world, or are somehow running away from reality by visiting this site? Or, maybe she simply meant that she couldn't manage both "real life" and ImgFlip, and of course, had to choose real life. Sad to see her go, in any case. It's always nice to see familiar names in the comments, and she was definitely one of those.
