I saw that story this morning, the boy at the table eats alone most days as he is autistic. He has since been invited to have dinner with the entire team. Props to this young man from Fla state.
I'm in tears! I Googled the story after seeing your meme! Thank you for the good news today. In a sad world this is the stuff that still makes me smile! More people should show love to others!
Thank you for the comment. I try to share love with people every day and i really appreciate seing stories like this that challenge me to grow and be better.
Bingo! I was talking about BLM. And yes, I am calling them racist, because that's exactly what they are. And I'll go a step further and call that thug group a bunch of criminals. They advocate the murder of cops, whether they shot a black man u justly or not, they loot and burn businesses, they murder or beat up white people...and you think they're just protesting? Sorry, bud, but that isn't protesting anything.
I haven't used many names to smear BLM. I used thug and racist, and neither one of those are much of a smear. If they truly believe black lives matter they would be in the ghettos and protesting black on black murders and black gangs. They would be protesting all the black babies being aborted. Instead they protest against cops doing their job when they shoot at a black thug who pointed a gun in their direction and refused to obey orders given to them. That's what they're protesting.
So yes, thug criminals and racists fit them perfectly.
And I also served in the military. I know they aren't a criminal organization. At least you aren't one of those liberals.
It's not a smear if it's the truth. And you calling me a racist isn't original. Every moron liberal does it. Call someone a racist and you win the debate. Idiot.
And they aren't protesting just the blacks who are gunned down by cops without warrent. They're rioting and looting and calling for the heads of every cop without looking at facts. You're a tool.
I did not realize that was your son, I am so sorry to hear that he has autism, he looks like a smart and proud young man, and that football player is a role model
No, this boy is not my son. He is autistic. My son is also autistic. This was a picture that gained national attention because when the FSU football team visited his school, one of their star players saw this young man sitting by himself and chose to sit with him. As a parent of an autistic son, i understand and appreciate the kindness of this act and the positive impact I'm sure it had on them both. Beyond football players and autistic children and even my son is the general concept that the more often we are able to connect with a total stranger who sees life from a different perspective, the more blessed we will all be. :-)
That was a beautiful work of art you just wrote there, I am sorry for your son but personally I had friends who were autistic, and they will one day do wonders to this worlds, good luck with your son, God bless you!
Excellent hypothetical point. A lot of people have misconceptions about autistic children and their perception of their social environment but i have witnessed my own son be aware of another student's exclusion from a group and in his own way reach out to that student. Either way it's an act of kindness and worthy of note especially at a time when highlighting divisive behavior is so prevalent. Kindness is contagious. Pass it on.
