So true...My mother grew up in Dearborn, MI, outside of Detroit. I used to go there to visit my grandmother when I was a boy, and I watched the whole area (even the suburbs) transform from a bustling suburban city to a ghost town with vacant buildings with gunshot windows on every corner.
