I live in south-central Texas, near San Antonio. For those who don't know where Texas is on a map...it's somewhere in the southern parts of the United States. ;)

I live in KY. Although I have also lived in other states the majority of my life I have been nestled in the mountains of my little one horse town. This is one of my favorite pictures of our town. We have an annual drug march here this is a shot of us marching back across the bridge that separates out West side of town from the East side. It is a very powerful day, many people speaking about their own sobriety and showing hope to others who are caught up in addiction.

I was born Manitoban till 5, raised in B.C. then back to manitoba 18 yrs ago, with some stops in Toronto and Calgary, but comming back to B.C. I hope in the next few months.

I did the math once. At one point I averaged moving once every 1.5 years. Only two addresses in the last 8 years is a win for me. Also had a stop in Florida, and three in Texas.

I bin in the same small two towns for so long, time to make a change, bored. Fortunately I have constuction skills to move me around and also an airbrush artist. I custom paint alot of hot rods, bikes, boats and stuff, did a few years of body painting too. I'm just stagnant now.

We're practically neighbours, I live about half hour north of the Minnisota border. We have the same misserable winters.

By miserable I assume you mean AWESOME! There are only three times I hate winter.

1. It's cold enough to LITERALLY freeze the snot in your nose (around -25 F)
2. It's freakin' cold (10 F or colder) and there's no snow
3. There's so much so I can't see over the snow banks when I'm driving

Yeah, I spend alot of time on one of my sleds, ice fishing, spend alot of time outside, but when it comes to weekdays and work, loadind and unloading my truck of tools can be quite a pain, tryin to not freeze my materials that sorta stuff, keeping the vehicles running, leave in the dark, come home in the dark. It gets loooong.

I concur that would suck. Lucky for me I go from heated unground parking to heated underground parking.

Lol! Nice meme. Georgia had a bumper crop of peaches about a decade ago. I started seeing these large, juicy peaches at the grocery and decided to make up for lost time...ate dozens of them. Next thing I know doc tells me I'm diabetic!

The Dayton/Springfield area. Before that, we were hillbillies from both the Ohio and WVa sides of the river.

I partied one night in Va**na couple years ago driving thru, missed our check out time, had to pay another day,...faaaaack, stupid credit cards. Ha ha ha.

I was there in 1975 during close to record wind chills, I believe they were below -60 degrees F. It was off the chart we had.
