We grew up around some pretty harsh language and such, but somehow still had respect for our parents, must have been the butt whoopins ;)

Even my school had a leather belt that was used, and I'll tell you it was always ma am and sir!

It isn't easy. Especially with what they are exposed to at school and on TV. I dislike shows where parents are portrayed as idiots and would try to prevent my kids from watching them.

There is way too much of it. And when I hear the music some of the teens I listen to my jaw drops. If I wrote it on here it would go censor censor censor girls censor censor censor drinking censor censor kill all the censor censor.

The old man had a rock pile too, and when you got in trouble you got put to work moving it, and when you got it moved, you moved it back :) Awesome meme bro!

Well that the deal, when you get your ass whopped when you're are little, all you need is a reminder after that. We all had chores to do when I come up, everyone had an assigned job on the farm, that you did morning and night. First thing we did when we come home from school was take off our good clothes and put the work clothes on and get it done, then homework...

I can tell we had the same kind of upbringing :)

It was a good life! Miss those days. :(
