So what do you all think? Has cursive writing outlived it's usefulness? I don't use it anymore, but I still know how.

I had a 16 year old ask me the time last week, I said the clock is right there? He said "I can't read those things"
I like cursive but think it's done with.

That's the only time I ever write in cursive...If I write in cursive now, it looks like it did when I was in grade school.

It was thumped into our heads coming up, and we sure got graded on it. I've been told that I have pretty handwriting, but I think they were just being kind :)

I have neat handwriting, but it's not hard to be neat when you print...

Literally useless. I have seen it used a little bit in DK, but asside from that it's completely fallen out of favour.

I know how and learned it excessively. I dint use it anymore, but it does seem pointless in today's society.

I haven't used cursive in many many years...but I still know how...

I know all the letters in cursive but blank out with z and capital f most of the time...

I'm in a school where you HAVE to write in cursive. I've known it since I started writing.

They tight me cursive in 1st grade,2nd grade ,and 3rd but each was a little and they stopped after that

I first started using the computer when I was only 2 years old, and cursive is only useful for signing papers.

My new liberal governor has made it mandatory in LA. I'm conservative and OK with that.....cutting TOPS is another thing.
