I don't see how it's wrong. If God isn't real, I still enjoyed my life following a religion I chose to believe. But if God is real, then I spend eternity with him. If you're an Atheist, you die either way, but if he's real, then it ends pretty badly does it not?

I have always seen this as an admission that Christians believe out of weakness and fear. Not because of facts, evidence and reason. I make memes for my use and I don't post them because they are generally directed at my friends. I read the comments because they can be quite funny. Those who do not believe will be judged by God and those who do believe will also be judged by God. There is no way around it whether you think so or not. Not believing g doesn't exempt you from standing before God at the end.

The only question you should be asking yourself is where do you choose to end up.

My whole point with this was to point out that as a christian I have nothing to lose, but as atheists, they have everything to lose. But they chose the path of ignorance, sadly they are blinded by their own fears.

My point is that Atheists are screwed IF God is real. Say there are ten religions, then Atheism. If I'm a christian, I have a 1 in 10 chance of being saved if God is real. But an Atheist is screwed no matter what. Just sayin' ;D

In all fairness we deserve to be punished, but God sent his son to die an agonizing death save us from eternal life Hell. I feel like this is a question only directed at people who aren't in a religion. It would be weird to ask me "what if you're wrong about my god?" because what if you're wrong about mine? It's like a Mexican standoff, but with theism.

If I'm wrong about your god, I say so be it. He needs to take some time to work on himself if he's really that upset about it. As for me, I'll just march on into the Christian hell with the rest of my heathen ancestors.

And if you're wrong about mine, then at worst you'll be in Helheim. Not as evil a place as you'd think. Hel's role in the afterlife is not at all comparable to that of the Christian Satan.

However, Helheim is not a place of eternal punishment. Description is pretty slim, but warriors who did not go to Asgård guard it, battling presumably to prepare for Ragnarök, inside the walls, people who died of sickness or old age simply live eternally dull lives and the wicked become slaves in Hel's hall.

Asgård is where those who die honourably go, where they dine with the Æsir, with all the meat they can eat, all ale and mead they can drink, all the battle they can fight and all the songs they can sing. It's like a mead hall for immortal people.

So what I was saying was if my religion is right and yours is wrong then you'll be alright. At worst, you'll be bored forever.
