Well, it seems pretty logical to me not to let men into the bathroom with women.

"Identity" is who you are. If you identify as a female, you are a female. If you pretend to be a female, you are a pervert. What the majority of people don't seem to understand is that there is a difference between the two.
Identity defines who you are. Pretending is a momentary mask that people put on. If you ever get to personally meet anyone who is transgender or transexual, you will realize that they do tend to be more like whichever gender they identify as. They aren't pretending, and they didn't just decide that they wanted to try life on an inverted setting (that's a joke, please don't rip me a new asshole for that). If they identify as male, they are mentally more like a male than a female, and vice versa. It's just how their brain works!
Many transgender people are kind and friendly, and are often sexually attracted to the gender opposite of the one they identify as. Someone identifying as a female is likely to be attracted to men. There are exceptions, but it is generally safe to assume that they are not interested in those of the same gender as they identify.
Another thing: Have you ever seen someone who is PHYSICALLY transexual? There are people who were born female, but if you saw them go into the ladies room, you would call security or help (even I would be concerned). They are MALE, however they may have been born. These bathroom bills in NC and other states would FORCE these MEN, who are often sexually attracted to women, to enter the WOMEN'S bathroom. If they really were predators like so many proponents of the bills claim, this would be more likely to cause the scenarios they describe than to prevent them.
None of this means there is no chance of it ever happening, but people going into the bathroom of the gender with which they identify is nothing new, and has been going on for decades at least. During that period, the number of instances of **pe in a public bathroom involving transgender/sexual individuals reached a staggerin -- drum roll, please -- 0 cases. 0 CASES.
On the outside, it may seem logical, but if you look closer, past the shitstorm the media has thrown up, you'll see that it really is irrational and really just discriminatory. Things like these bathroom bills are more likely to cause problems than to solve non-existent ones.
Besides, Target is probably less concerned about transgender rights and more concerned about keep part of its customer base. Is all 'bout teh moneh!
Just some food for thought.

Just so you know, I have rarely seen a butthurt liberal reply/comment. I mean, some find it harsh on this site with all the conservative memes, but the most popular liberals on this site don't create hate comments. As for me, I like to be provocative (I am not lying when I say this) and make liberal memes because Conservatives do it all the time, yet I see more butthurt Conservative replies on my memes more than butthurt liberal replies on other users' memes. No offense, (and this is based on my opinion/experience, so it might be biased) but I've been in near flame wars (and 1 actual flame war) with users who felt they should explain their "logic" to my memes. I hope you understand :) Conservative memes never break me, and they shouldn't let liberal memes break them. :3

I have nothing against transgender people. For the most part, I'm a live and let live guy. I think there are a lot of people out there like myself that are NOT worried about transgender folks taking advantage of Target's policy but, sick or perveted men that will use it to spy on females or worse...assault them in what should truly be a "safe space." You are a cool guy and I hope I didn't offend you in any way!

Thank you for the compliment. You are a very cool guy as well! :) and I do definitely see your point. I just feel that the possibility of people abusing that policy shouldn't automatically mean we scrap it entirely. As I mentioned in a similar meme a while back: abusus non tollit usum (abuse does not take away use) :)
reply

Come on buddy, we know that this isn't a policy that you can only partially scrap or partly impose. This is a less that 1/10th of 1% of the population, we as a society impose harsher and much more time consuming requirements on millions in society. Its just not nearly as stylish to talk about than this.

Its stupid!!! The landmark case to this was a middle school aged boy in Chicago public schools. They made a separate time for him to use the girls locker room. That wasn't good enough for the fed. They then offered to add a separate facility for him, still not good enough. The student in question was actually okay with either solution, it was outside influences that intervened and decided to push their own agenda. There is no interest in finding a workable solution, it is all about doing this their way.
reply
2 ups
The student didn't like it when a school official followed said student to a bathroom during a time that was not designated for the student to go to the bathroom (which ever one that was supposed to be). The school district tried to accommodate the student and the school official who followed the student waited outside the bathroom while the student was using it.

Phew! :) By the way- The very FIRST DUTY of any government is to PROTECT it's citizens. Believe it or not, before they provide schools, courtrooms, financial assistance, etc. our government must look out for it's citizen's protection and security; i.e. Police, Military, etc. Ask any woman how secure they will feel with their pants down with Men in the restroom (regardless of what gender they identify with) and I think you will have your answer. The current administration dictating to schools that they must allow boys in the girls' restroom in schools (or risk losing federal funding) is not only NOT PROTECTING it's citizens, it's potentially putting them in harm's way. And to reiterate, I'm not too worried about true transgender folks hurting women and children. It's perverts and rapists that I'm concerned with. As a business, Target may make any policy they want as long as it is within the law. Free Markets determine whether consumers agree with their policies. Loss of sales and lost stock value are just examples of the power of consumers voting with their wallets!
reply

Possibly. Personally, I have nothing against transvestites. I think it's weird and un-natural, but I'm not going to go get up in their faces about it. I don't understand why we can't just have gender-neutral bathrooms.People say "Oh then there's not enough" but if it's THAT important to you, you can wait, right? And everyone keeps saying that trans people are all super-nice and they would never harm a little girl; So why are they pushing a policy that puts women and children in danger just for their own personal comfort?
reply
8 ups, 2 replies
Although transvestites and transgenders are two different things, I see your point. However, it's not just about personal comfort, it's also about being treated fairly, I believe. Sometimes in society, the majority doesn't always get their way.

Do you have any daughters? I have been a single dad to 1 since she was 4. It sounds funny but one of the most tense times you will have is waiting for a daughter that age to walk out of a public bathroom when she went in alone. It is one of the few times a parent will let them out of their sight in public. If my daughter were in one alone and a man walks out zipping up... I'm not going to ask questions. There needs to be more worry over safety than comfort. THAT GOES BOTH WAYS.
reply
6 ups, 1 reply
I am not at all comfortable with this. I have 3 children, and I wouldn't even want my 15 year old son walking into a bathroom with a chance of a female walking in. I SURELY WOULDN'T want my daughters in the restroom with a male. I understand the issue at hand, but there is more than one way to skin a cat. If we are going to be forced to accommodate them, then they should be forced to accommodate us as well. That being said if there are gender neutral bathrooms there should also be gender specific bathrooms available.
reply
0 ups, 1 reply
It's not clear to me if you are a woman or man, but as a former 15-year-old son, I can assure you: The possibility of a woman walking into the restroom when we are using it is both a) the least of our problems and b) not really that scary whatsoever. I mean, does your 15-year-old leave the house? Because whenever he does, there's a good chance he's doing something WAY more unsafe than sharing a restroom with a lady.

I brought my nine year old son and his friend, and my four year old daughter and her friend to go see Home Alone at the theater in 1990. Four kids, I wasn't happy. We missed the first showing and hung around for 2 hours to see the next one. We were playing video games and drank a lot of soda. After an hour and a half everyone had to pee. Big concern was how to keep all the kids safe. Told my daughter and her friend to wait in this hallway going to the men's room with boys. I turned and took 2 steps and heard a grown man say, "Hey, do you need help getting to the bathroom?" I turned around and sure as shit he was bent over talking to my daughter. I got in between the kids and this pervert and yelled at him, "We don't need any of your [email protected] help!" I'm not a big guy, but I felt no fear. A security guard came over, the two pedophiles left, asked the gaurd to watch these two. Now where's my son? Him and his friend are using the urinals and guess who's bent over beside him using another urinal? Pedophile guy. The guy looked over his shoulder and saw me, zippered up and left without washing his hands. So I think you know how I feel about the issue.

I'm like Raydog. I don't have any kids and I don't want any. I totally understand that your child's safety comes first, and I'm going to be honest. If I had a daughter and she was using a public bathroom and a guy walked in, I wouldn't feel comfortable with it. I would probably prefer to stand just inside the door while my child was in the bathroom, if I was allowed to, for their safety. I would still support Target's policy, however, because it's designed to accommodate transgenders.

Then lets just take down the doors and walls for the bathrooms. If we are going to allow the transgendered, mothers and fathers or guardians whatever all to be in opposite sex bathrooms. Why are we going to discriminate against the rest of society who may want to see what is happening in them?

The amount of attention this crap gets on social platforms makes me want to throw kittens in a blender. No one ever cared what bathrooms transgender people used (I did my research. {A} 1 case ever of a man dressing as a woman to assault women in a public restroom | {B} a small bit acknowledgeable number of physical and sexual assault cases against transgenders) until a bunch of mentally handicapped land whales frequently referred to as "SJWs" started making a fuss for no reason other than they needed a new soapbox to stand on, using ref. {B} as their "case" for their stupidity. All they've done is destroy the rights of transgender people (but only in N. America, because of course N. America is the only place that cares about stupid sh*t like this [sorry, not sorry]) for 15 seconds of fame.

Who needs progress, balance and rights when you can have "social justice" amirite?

(You can loosely use the term "liberal" to describe me, but I assure you any "liberal" with half a pink blob in their skull can look at SJWs and see that they're a f***ing detriment.)

Also, no one seems to acknowledge that the only measure for whether or not someone is allowed in the women's restroom (only the women's restroom, mind you) is the ever subjective standard of beauty. "You look to manly. You must be a transgender. Go to the men's restroom"

That, or N.A. restrooms will have some type of enforcer that makes you strip so they can decide what gender you are and which bathroom you use.

Both of these options are the only way to filter the genders in restrooms.

TL;DR

I hate SJWs, North American media priorities and the whole "transgender restroom" "debate"

Not a debate. Just a bunch of chimps flinging their sh*t at each other.

Kegdalsgard- I am in agreement with you on the sjw's. Before Target and our illustrious commander-in-chief made this an issue to cram down the public's throat, I believe that it was not a problem worth even spending 30 seconds on. I live in a big city and it is not too often that I am aware of transgender individuals around me. And I honestly believe, before this big flap that they probably handled their business as discreetly as the next person with little-to-no problems. As the meme states, it's not directed at transgender folks...it's directed at Target (and even Obama) for opening the door of abuse to men/boys that will take advantage of these idiotic policies and hurt females in one way or another. The old policy was essentially, don't ask-don't tell, and I think it worked fine. While I am greatly looking forward to the end Obama's term, I think at this point, it's anybody's guess whether he will be replaced by Trump or Hillary. Both make my stomache queasy, Trump slightly less so. As far as typos, who cares? We all make mistakes. Thank you for your thoughtful comments :)

Question: how do you BS your way out of being guilty of raping someone? Because that's not something you can BS out of.
reply
3 ups, 1 reply
No, not raping someone. It would just be easier to explain why they are in the restroom. They might scare the recipient of the **pe into not saying anything and the only thing to cover would be why they are walking out of the opposite gender's bathroom.
reply
3 ups, 1 reply
I would like to take a second to remind you of proper Imgflip etiquette: one upvote, one reply. I have been doing that for you, you are not reciprocating that. Anyways...

It's not fear that keeps **pes from being reported. It's a feeling that it's their fault, that they could've done something to stop it. So no, they won't scare the recipient. Fear drives people to desperation. If scared, they will shout and scream. They will fight back. (Examples of scared people fighting back: Civil War, Revolutionary War, and United Airlines Flight 93)

Shocked victims also won't start getting up and walking around immediately after the rapist has had his way. They will likely be found, dazed. If they end up leaving, they will not have a straight face. They will be noticeably shaken up. People will question, and the victim will either act erratic or simply break under the pressure and tell. They may also confide in family members and friends, who will likely push the victim to report it.

TL;DR: You're wrong, good sir.
reply
2 ups, 1 reply
My apologies, I was unaware of the etiquette. I will hereby rectify my mistake. You do have good points. Actually, very good points. Anyway, it would make it easier to **pe someone because you could say that you were transgender and go in the opposite gender's restroom and thus **pe the person. And fear may or may not be a motivator (ok, in many many cases you are correct, fear can be part of it). Also, I am a lady. :) Anyhoo, my argument still stands. It would be a little easier. Ok, probably still lying transparently, but it may make the offender believe it would be easier. Thank you for not swearing and going into a rage.

Can you unchanging dinosaurs just die out already? The world's gonna progress in terms of gender fluidity and sexuality with or without you

Tell me how many children is a mentally ill fruitcake like Bruce Jenner going to birth and then tell me who is going to die out, the freaks or the normal people?

The unchanging mindset is gonna die out. World is flat, humans cant fly, black people are 3/5 of a human - all dead. Transphobic people, the inevitable acceptance of people as equal is the meteor that will destroy you.

Tell me more about how so many civilizations through time thrived in a moral abyss. Tell me more how your welfare state is so sustainable when eventually, nobody works. Tell me more how enlightened you are, parroting the liberal nonsense your 1%er tenured professors brainwashed you with. Tell me more how the unchanging mindset of post modern liberalism will survive when the monopoly money runs out at the Fed? Tell me more about how the Progressive embrace of Islam is going to work, seeing as how they are polar opposites. Tell me more 4th grade gibberish, please. Tell me more how calling every and all perversions "normal" is not going to come back and bite you in the ass. Tell me more 4th grade feel good gibberish.

Oh so there's a change a coming? There are only two genders. Is there going to be a third one arriving soon?

Whats coming is a redefinition of the term gender toward inclusiveness. So under the redefinition, yeah a third one or a fourth or maybe more are coming.
