Oh yeah. Some troll or ignorant comments. I just mean alot of new users and others, I notice will reply to a comment, but not upvote, theres a couple who are consistently not upvoting I noticed.

Yeah exactly. See 5 people comment n 3 upvotes. Or 5 comments and none of them have an upvote. I bin called silly so many times cuz I'm going up a stream pushing ups and hit mine. I know who some of those guys are. I've werked with a couple noobs along the way n just said hey, upvote its courtesy ya know.

I think anybody that has been around a bit has, some people like to only upvote things they personally think are "worthy." Which is fine if they don't mind the same treatment returned. Just like they can reply and not upvote my comments like I did theirs, only realize how that looks to others that will see it. People are free to act however they want, it's funny how those who argue that the most get offended when disagree'd with more often then not. I guess wanting to treat others like crap, isn't supposed to affect the way others think of you. Which is a pretty interesting way to think about a website where the only way people can tell what kind of person you are is to judge your actions with others. As one guy put it, all this social interaction shouldn't affect upvotes. Strange he thought that when all his interactions were negative. I mean who wouldn't upvote somebody that called them a f*cktard lmao!

Theres a couple guys on here that just have super shitty memes and attitudes and I think are here just to be assholes. One of them doesnt seem to like our older generation, you may have seen his shitty comments n memes, he's a real basterd. But then theres a few new users that are really good, good comments and seem to be tearin up the flip which is nice to see.

I had a professor that used to say, those unable to create things people love, soon turn into those that create only hate. I always try and support something good by new users. Maybe some people feel left out when they see that, maybe they can't admit their memes aren't very good so they blame others for their failure. For some reason they think putting others down will help them go up. Then they get even more upset and blame everybody else for not liking how they act. They will literally go with any scenario that doesn't include them having to admit they need some practice making memes. They waste all their energy being negative when they could be practicing by simply commenting on stuff they like. You just can reason with a person all wrapped up in their emotions. I do believe it takes some maturity to be able to step back and see how you look to others. Unfortunately not many are willing to believe anything but what their ego tells them.

I apologise now for my bad manners but I only up vote funny comments or ones that i agree with, provided they've been well written and the point is 'well said'. I don't upvote 'lol' comments, even on my own memes. I go find a meme or comment from that user that I find upvote worthy. I comment on memes without up voting just to point out spelling mistakes or to disagree with their point, or, call out a repost or lame joke.

Well it's not anything written in stone. If you are in a comment chain, everybody's chimin in tryin to add or one up eachother in the sport of it, who can make you laugh louder kinda thing. So every one is involved playin around, why not upvote all. You get points to for upvoting, i think, but yes when you get a troll commment or offensive comment, then yeah, down goes the red arrow. And like Dash says, if people see you upvote, then they will upvote you, maybe even comment and upvote some of your memes because you comment and upvote too.

No, not a hard fast rule, but I liken it to walkin into your local watering hole and only saying hi to one person with a table of 6. Sure there are ass comments, downvote, but if youre in a stream and exchanging comments, or replying to a comment its only courtious to push the little arrow up. Lets them know that hey, I can show respect to my fellow users. Thats what the ups n downs are for, only we dont get to see the downs. Sad face.

2- on any meme I click to read the comments. I mean if I cared enough to read it I can click it.
