A lot of the Old Testament is un-Christian.

That particular piece should be at the heart of Christianity, though, if it's all it claims to be.

Leviticus is the third book of the Torah. Along with Genesis, Exodus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. Nothing to do with Christianity.

Un-Christian is different from anti-Christian.

Face it, the only thing in the Old Testament Christians are even aware of - and that only barely - is Leviticus 18:22 and some generalized referencing to the Garden of Eden story.

It was instructions given to Moses by God for the 12 tribes to survive while they wandered in the desert wilderness until crossing into Israel.

Your chapter 19 was assimilating foreign tribes from Median to come along with Hebrew tribes travelling back to Israel, if they chose to. No freebies, no government hand outs.

People make the bible say all kinds of things it doesn't say. Wonder if it had anything to say about breaking the law? deporting someone who broke the law is not cruelty, it's justice.
