Bout damn time, Men deserve the Right to also be Cheerleaders

If women can be hired for jobs like a firefighter, policeman, etc., why can't a man be hired for cheerleader?

I don't make the rules for hiring any of them. I personally feel that women are very capable in many areas of the workforce. I don't feel that firefighting is in most women's comfort zone as we generally lack upper body strength in comparison with men.

I am not a young/impressionable person conforming to a politically correct world in my thoughts or actions. I do not think that males belong in women's sports or in this case, as cheerleaders. It looks ridiculous and distracts from the goal of supporting men in sports.

If you think a male cheerleader looks ridiculous, don't watch him and keep your old/outdated beliefs to yourself.

So. . .a WOMAN can't have an opinion on something that directly affects WOMEN everywhere. In this case cheerleaders which is traditionally meant for WOMEN only. . .also, and we should all admit it, cheerleading is partly about 'eye candy' and this person looks like a half chewed piece of candy melting on concrete. There is nothing for female football fans to quietly droll/fantasize over. Maybe if he was more Beefcake and less Pencilneck.

There's also safety issues as in this guy feels spastic and undisciplined for the kind of things that require the upmost self control and discipline. Whatever he will do on the field won't be things like being part of a pyramids or tossing another cheerleader into the air and catching her.

No, this is just another lame ass attempt at taking away something traditionally meant for women. If men want to be cheerleaders then they can form their own all male squads. . .of course something like that would probably be as popular as WNBA. . .

Like I said, if you don't like it, then don't watch it.
