Ok, I seriously have no idea what you're talking about, please stop putting words in my mouth. I said their emotions are imbalanced, not that they're just "having a bad day". Granted, "imbalanced emotions" is a really vague term, so probably not the best way to describe it, but it is nevertheless true that in some circumstances, extreme imbalances in emotion can lead someone to acts of brutality and evil. I was well aware, from the beginning, that sociopaths tend to do really horrible, inexcusable things, things that just "having a bad day" will not lead a normal person to do. What I was saying is that sociopaths are capable of empathy and do feel it at times (unlike psychopaths), but that it's very often weak or forgotten in the midst of extreme emotions and impulses. Maybe that's not the best explanation, but then again, I'm sure it's nearly impossible to understand it completely just by skimming a few articles on Google.
