I mean the people involved in this incident (or possibly string of incidents) were ages 12 to 17 years old... and 3 of them were girls. What happens if they get pregnant?

Outlawing abortion particularly in the red states with the loosest gun laws just seems like a recipe for disaster. Hopefully I will be proven wrong but I am not optimistic.

Lax parenting combined with lax penalty for breaking the law is something to explore.

Simply existing while being poor is a popular excuse but not a legitimate one.

Their parents could easily handed over the children they did not want.

But that would mean forgoing the state/federal subsidies.

I believe to solve the issue the need to demonetize having unwanted children has to be employed.

Plainly stated, end the welfare system.

It has stagnated people and resulted in generational poverty.

There would be a period of adjustment that would see a spike in crime and cries of unfairness and all the usual whining. Difficult but necessary.
