Talk about reunions, a dream I had this [now yesterday] morning lead me to searching for old classmates which lead me to FB page for our school which first was good as I soon found someone I had looked for in the past, but then later I saw some bad news about the passing of a Priest we all loved and that wretched my mood so I wasn't posting here for hours.
For me Crue would have been a good thing on account of Mick Mars, as Sixx pretty much gave him something to live for given the condition he found him in years ago, but then I looked it up and he's not touring this time due to his condition.
Are these tickets with these bands going for over $250 now? I remember everyone was kinda in shock when they were going fo $125 with Kiss and the Stones, and that sucks forking that knda cash for a not-so-final gig. They should sue them for false advertising.
The ever-more annoying Simmons said that bands who use backup vocal tracks while playing live should give a refund to ticket buyers - but then Stanley got busted with a technical mishap! Fhucking fakers. Gosh, if young Modda was told how e'd grow to loathe Simmons so much in later years, I would never have believed it. Ugh, so vile.
Brain May said Queen would never play again with Freddie gone, then they did that Paul Young thing. Sheesh, might as well have been Rod Stewart or Pat Boone.
Same deal with Pantera, which admittedly is a band I didn't get into as much as I should have, as I've yet to buy an album even though I should have way back as I actually did like them. That's an outright sin, like with Queen. It's like Sabbath playing without Iommi, or as Conan O'brien once said years ago about another 'reunion,' "I was expecting Guns n Roses, not Chubby McGee and the guys that aren't Slash"
I get all wretched about a someone I've not heard of for decades, and these guys can replace people they were far closer to for far longer like it was nothing. Bunch of asswipes.
