People are such incredible idiots in the snow!
Right now I am sitting here listening to a ton of sirens cause there has been a massive 9 car and a tanker truck pile up 2 blocks from my house.
It is snowing and really slick out..
People were speeding and caused a chain reaction when one idiot spun out and everyone else slammed on their brakes to avoid the first car.. then the second and so on.
My neighbor saw it happen...
He said it all went in slow motion and he thought for sure a truck was going to hit him, but it was able to straighten out and avoid him.... by just a few feet!
He got home just as the sirens had started and told me what was up.

One idiot... or in this case... a bunch of speed demons... can ruin your perfectly awesome day :-(

As I am typing this he just texted me that he is listening to police scanner, there has been one fatality :-(

Sad to hear about the fatality in your case. Part of why I posted this. It's funny, you can tell there's no serious injuries...but it serves warning enough that bad things can happen if you drive like an idiot in snowy conditions.

Here it is 8:30am in Salt Lake City and we already have drunk drivers, domestic violence, a drunk lady screaming at neighbors in her underwear...it's about 30 degrees out there!
A few heart attacks ( probably guys shoveling snow), a road closure... I think on I-80, going up to Park City and in to Wyoming.
And too many accidents to keep up with!

You want some ongoing Entertainment and a harsh dose of reality that people are just idiots...

Some people have to learn this the hard way.

I know there's a turn that gets bad at my apartment, and even slowing down to 5 mph I still slid all the way through it.

Most of the time it turns out you see someone like this end up in the ditch a few miles down the road. For it to happen as soon as they pass you is like finding a 4 leaf clover.

so i wouldn't notice the nastiness and i'll still get to whoop 'em.
