DID CATHOLICISM GIVE US PAGAN-WITCHCRAFT HOLIDAYS?
[1 of 2] December 21st is Wiccan-witchcraft’s ritual day of Yule (around our time of Christmas), which features pagan Yule logs, wreaths, and mistletoe. Because Catholicism is not Christian or even a friend to Christianity, they merged their Christ Mass (Christmas) with the pagan Yule ritual. Catholicism also latched onto the pagan witchcraft ritual day of “Ostara” and turned it into the “Easter” we have today (with Ostara-fertility aspects like rabbits and eggs). Catholicism combined that witchcraft ritual day with Christ's resurrection day and called it Easter. As long as I've been a pastor at Sunrise Bible Church, that is why we do not celebrate the Catholic-pagan ritual day of Easter. Instead, at that time we honor what Jesus did for us by celebrating “Resurrection Day.”; I'm not trying to be legalistic, but bunnies have nothing to do with Jesus rising from the dead and everything to do with the Wiccan witchcraft calendar. Likewise, Catholicism adopted the witches’ Samhain (Sa’ win) ritual on October 31st and turned it into their Halloween that is all about divination (praying to dead saints), which God specifically forbids. Through God’s judgment, King Saul and all his sons died for doing that. The witches’ Samhain ritual day was Catholicized into divination-related activities for Catholics like wearing Halloween costumes, the trick or treat aspect, jack o' lanterns, and bobbing for apples. It all worked together because Catholicism is just as into divination as the pagan witches. Folks, when Catholics are told to pray to a dead person, for favor or whatever else, that is flat-out divination and the exact same practice as witchcraft's divination. Catholicism has just gotten away with it for a long
time because no Christians wants to talk about it. | image tagged in wicca, witchcraft, easter, christmas, halloween, catholic | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
