• Demanding impossible standards
of proof from opponents.
• Dismissing contradictory
evidence as part of a conspiracy.
• Moving from one argument to
another when challenged. This tactic makes meaningful
debate impossible—which is
Lefty’s Goal. It’s similar to
Motivated Reasoning, where
Lefty selectively interprets
