DO PEOPLE ASK YOU FOR PROOF OF GOD? [1 of 3]
Well, here’s some: how about God's track record with His predictions (prophecies)? I want to give you a couple examples but just know that, so far, God has fulfilled over 2000 predictions He made that we can read about in the Bible. And God's predictions aren’t vague like those of psychics. Yet, even with very specific prophecies, God has been 100% correct and His remaining 500 predictions are all lining up right now in these last days. In Daniel 2, God predicted the rise of nations, telling us these four future empires in historical order: Babylon, Medo-Persian, Greece, and then Rome. God also predicted the fall of nations. In the Bible's book of Nahum, God predicted Nineveh would be permanently destroyed by fire, easily captured, their army officers would desert, and those officers would even be drunk in their final hours. As specific as God was, of course it happened just that way. Archaeologists have not only discovered Nineveh, but also uncovered a layer of ash in its ruins, showing it was destroyed by fire. Also, ancient Babylonian records reveal how Nineveh was easily overtaken and that their officers fled the scene. Another Greek historian records how the king gave much wine to his soldiers that night, causing them to be drunk. It was exactly as God said it would be and that prediction was not your average psychic-type generalized con like, "You're going to meet someone new.” | image tagged in prophecy, prediction, god, bible, christian, proof | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

IS BIBLE PROPHECY TOO HARD TO UNDERSTAND?
No. God’s inspired Word in the Bible was written so anyone can understand. And how can we pastors call ourselves faithful shepherds, who love our sheep, if we skip a quarter of the Bible? Alistair Begg: “It takes a whole Bible to make a whole Christian.” J. Vernon Magee: “God put the cookies down on the lower shelf so even the kids could get to them.” Dr. David Cooper, (founder of The Biblical Research Society): "When the plain sense of Scripture makes common sense, seek no other sense; therefore, take every word at its primary, ordinary, usual, literal meaning unless the facts of the immediate context, studied in the light of related passages and obvious and fundamental truths,
indicate clearly otherwise." The problem
is only when man starts to
read his own ideas into the Bible. All of the Bible is a blessing but God says Bible Prophecy has a triple blessing. It also keeps us from becoming too worldly minded because we are not saved for this messed up version of the earth here today. It's for the world to come. Bible prophecy tells us about our amazing future! When the Rapture happens, we go to heaven to be with God and then come back with Jesus to the earth to rule and reign with him in the Millennial Kingdom for 1000 years. Then the earth is renovated into a new creation that turns it back into a Garden of Eden and we live in peace with all creatures. You can have a pet lion, tiger, and bear. Who wouldn't want to be here for that? No one has a brighter future than Christians and that’s the message from Bible prophecy. It also makes us aware that today could be the last day, so we should not only be living for Jesus, but also witnessing for Him. | image tagged in future, bible, prophecy, jesus, god | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

DO PEOPLE ASK YOU FOR PROOF OF GOD? [2 of 3] Here’s another very specific fulfilled prophecy from God: The book of Isaiah talks about how Babylon would be overthrown at the hands of Medes, with the gates opened by a guy named Cyrus and in the end, the area would be reduced to swampland. Guess what happened. History shows it was exactly that; the Medes joined up with the Persians to conquered Babylon, despite Babylon's incredible defenses, which included Babylon's outer wall being so huge (tall and wide), they would have chariot races on it. No one should have been able to get through to Babylon. Still, God being the ONLY one who knows the end from the beginning, in the future, the record shows that a guy named Cyrus diverted the flow of the Euphrates River, which had run under the walls of Babylon, marched into the city along the river bed, and archaeological excavations reveal that parts of Babylon today cannot be dug up because it's under water, making it swamp-like. | image tagged in prophecy, prediction, bible, proof, god, christian | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

ARE YOU OR SOMEONE YOU LOVE HEADED FOR THE WORST DAY OF YOUR LIFE? The ultimate sign of that would have to be this: You wake up one morning only to realize your family has suddenly disappeared. So you run to the TV and see a special worldwide news report declaring that millions of people all over the planet have simply vanished. As you notice the Bible on your coffee table, it suddenly dawns on you that your family was right about the Rapture of the Church. To your horror, the next realization is that you’ve been left behind and catapulted into mankind's darkest hour: the Seven Year Tribulation, which is coming soon upon our whole planet. Thankfully, while it hasn’t happened yet, (but WILL at ANY moment), God is not only a God of wrath;; He's also a God of love; He's given us many warning signs to show that the Tribulation is near and His 2nd Coming is rapidly approaching. Therefore, our series, "The Final Countdown," takes a look at ten signs given by God to lovingly wake us up so we will give our lives to Him before it's too late. Those signs are the Jewish People; Modern Technology; Worldwide Upheaval; the Rise of Falsehood, Wickedness, and Apostasy; a One World Religion, Government, and Economy; and the Mark of the Beast. Like it or not, we are headed for "The Final Countdown." Please, if you haven't already done so, give your life to Jesus today, because tomorrow may be too late! | image tagged in bible, prophecy, end times, god, jesus, christian | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
