SHOULD YOU BE BLESSED BY YOUR PASTOR TEACHING BIBLE PROPHECY? The Bible tells us we'll know we're getting close to the last days when people in the Church will not put up with sound doctrine (biblical teachings). Instead, to suit their own desires, they will hire and listen to those who give them only myths (stories made up) and whatever else they deem pleasant to hear. I just described 90% of the American Church. And this is the reason Churches, pastors, Bible study leaders, and other teachers won't preach on Bible prophecy. The irony is they're fulfilling Bible prophecy in a bad way, yet they don't know it because they refuse to study the very thing that warns them against what they are doing. As a shepherd in the Church myself, the questions I have for pastors are these: How can you be a faithful shepherd if you skip nearly a third of the Bible (prophecy)? Are you saying it's not a blessing to the sheep when God tells us it is? Are you smarter and know more than God? Since you profess to love your sheep, why keep them from God's blessing? Is that showing genuine love and concern for them? Besides, as a shepherd, we're supposed to teach the flock the whole council of God;; not just some of it. What gives you the right to decide which portions of the Bible are good or bad for God's people? God says it's all from Him so it's all good; especially Bible prophecy. The facts are that Bible prophecy is some of the best news we could ever hear as Christians and is the much-needed antidote to deal with the perilous days we live in now where evil abounds. The Book of Revelation is not doom and gloom. Rather, it reminds us that we are going to heaven; a place beyond our wildest dreams. We will go into the millennium where our greatest adventure awaits. And best of all, face to face, we're going to see our king, Jesus, who loves us and wants us to have an amazing life for all eternity. What a blessing that news is and it's all obtained when we read, hear, and take to heart the prophetic events that are 100% accurately recorded for us in the Bible--and only there. The more I study Bible prophecy, the more I'm reminded that, as a Christian in Jesus, I'm a winner and not a loser, I'm blessed beyond measure, and I have an amazing future in store that I can't even comprehend. How awesome it will be! In fact, nobody has a brighter, more-secure future than God's people! | image tagged in bible, prophecy, god, future, church, christian | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
