WHY DO ONLY 50% OF CHRISTIANS TRUST THE BIBLE 100%? [1 of 4]
Christians can fully bank on the Bible, knowing it's exactly what God laid out for us as the only way that contains all truth, as well as the correct history and future. Contrary to that solid foundation for life, involving a relationship with Jesus, religions and cults just prescribe rituals, donations, worship of different entities, mantras, sacrifices, and other works of that nature. But those don't reveal ultimate knowledge because only the Bible can do that. Of course the Bible has skeptics so let’s look at the evidence: Skeptics say we can’t trust that it was Moses, around 1445 B.C., who wrote about the Garden of Eden in Genesis. However, with all due respect, that's the importance of genealogies. With the Bible, we can look at the lives of just three men in Genesis 10, who together cover the first 2157 years of mankind. How could that time period be so long? Of course it's because man had a longer life span at the beginning and that's not just some spiritualization of the Genesis text. We even know it’s scientifically possible, as we dealt with in detail through our study, "In the Days of Noah," as part of our "Creation Series." So, the history being repeated in the Bible is from only three guys, who knew each other for a long, long time. It wasn't just some weekend conference where
they hoped the breakout sessions were archived accurately. | image tagged in bible, trust, christian, truth, jesus, god | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WHY DO ONLY 50% OF CHRISTIANS TRUST THE BIBLE 100%? [2 of 4]
A second testament to the veracity of the Bible is the Jewish copy methods, including the writing of doctrine on surfaces that would last; like the skins of clean animals, pottery, and sometimes even copper scrolls. And by the way, in God's sovereign plan, a lot of these items were stored in the desert where the extreme dryness greatly facilitated the preservation process. It's almost like God knew what He was doing, right? Also, the Jewish scribes had to produce a product with the exact same number of lines and columns throughout every Bible codex (an ancient text in book form). In fact, it literally involved a mathematical formula, a set mandatory recipe for the ink, they could not write anything from a memory, (including insignificant punctuation), those copying had to sit in full dress, they even washed their whole body over and over again each time they wrote the name of God, and even if a king or other royalty addressed that scribe, he could not acknowledge the noble, which was most likely punishable by death back in those days. So keeping the integrity of the manuscript work was very serious stuff! | image tagged in bible, trust, authority, god, jesus, truth | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

[2 of 5] DO YOU WANT TO HEAR ABOUT THE FUTURE? Another sign the Bible gives that we’re living in the last days, is that the Church will go into apostasy. For those of us looking at Bible prophecy, I think sometimes we focus on the number of earthquakes rising, wars, and rumors of war; but I want to say, "Hey, don't just look on the outside of these Church walls." If we want to know we're in the last days, the Bible tells us to look inside at our own camp. Two thousand years ago, Paul wrote to Timothy about how the Church will know when we are living those last days. What he wrote must've blown Timothy's mind. Paul basically said, "Listen, can you imagine this? It's actually going to happen, man. We won't know the day or hour but hey, it's getting close when we see this: We Christians will actually still attend Church services but all we'll get from the pulpit will be fluffy stuff and stories made up.” Paul tells Timothy the last days will involve the Church gathering around themselves teachers who will just tickle their ears ("knetho" in Greek, which means only "pleasant things"). He says people will turn aside from the truth and only listen to myths or stories made up ("mythois" in Greek). During the last days, Paul is saying we'll see this mindset happen in the Church. It won't just be out in the world with all that wickedness, wars, earthquakes, famines, and pestilence; Paul says the Church will only be giving us pleasant topics and stories made up. Hey, it's a good thing we see no signs of that, right? Wrong! It's everywhere today! Regularly these days we get calls from here in the U.S., Canada, South America, Europe, and as far as Australia; always with the same legitimate complaint: "I can't find a healthy Church!" or "I can't find someone who will preach the Bible." Sometimes they'll add, "Now I'm the weird one for asking my pastor to preach the other third of the Bible (prophecy) he's been leaving out." And with many supposedly-Christian Churches, they don't even give the other two thirds. All their people hear is, "Hey, we're going to help you become a better you," or "Let's talk about how to be financially successful," or "Let's build up your self esteem.” But my Bible says we need to esteem others more than ourselves. We are to deny ourselves, pick up our cross, and follow Christ every day. Oops! Still, congregations today, gathering fluff preachers around them, are a major sign we're living in the last days. | image tagged in bible, prophecy, end times, god, jesus, christian | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
