HOW WAS THE "BOOK OF MORMON" WRITTEN? Since Mormonism is based on the Book of Mormon, and they claim their book is better for us than the Christian Bible, how was their book created? If you do the homework, you’ll find that Mormon leadership has long tried to distance themselves from Joseph Smith’s family practice of witchcraft, which he used to write the Book of Mormon. One historian says this: ”That demonstrates a lack of credibility on the part of Mormon leaders. No doubt they understand that most people would balk at accepting the Book of Mormon if it was known to have been 'translated' by using a magical rock in a hat.”; Unfortunately the historical record, which Mormonism attempts to cover up, shows occult witchcraft was a family business for the Smiths. Through occult techniques he learned from his parents, Smith used a witchcraft tool called a “talisman” to locate a “seer stone,” which is also used in witchcraft. He placed the stone in a hat and then pressed his face to the brim, blocking out all light. Smith, his wife, and others named in the Book of Mormon as helping with the process, all explain that Smith saw the words appear in the hat as those witnesses wrote the words down, creating the Book of Mormon. WHY ARE THERE SO MANY WORLD RELIGIONS AND CULTS? AND HOW DO THEY COMPARE TO BIBLICAL CHRISTIANITY? Here's what I've cautioned throughout our entire multi-year study called, "World Religions, Cults & The Occult." Whenever someone approaches you with a statement like, "God told me..., I had a revelation…, I had a vision…," or "I got a Word from God...," you need to run!! Just stick with the Bible! How and when did the Bible get old fashioned? What's wrong with it & why isn't it enough? As we've been seeing with all the different faiths established by man, the trouble always begins with man getting outside the Bible, leading unsuspecting followers down the path to a heap of trouble. It helps those preying on people their money when we don’t know our Bible. These cult founders are not Christian, yet many of them claim to be. Many call themselves prophets and profess to have visions from God, or from God’s supposed helpers. But since we began to receive Christ’s Word, as God's Old Testament use of prophets ended, if we accept that anyone can have their own vision, then everyone can, which is why these false teachings & groups have kept springing up throughout history. The whole premise is a man supposedly getting a new Word outside God's actual Word in the Bible. From there, everything goes off the bridge and plunges into the swamp.
