![HOW ARE CHRISTIANS PROTECTED FROM THE OCCULT AND WITCHCRAFT? What is God’s way to deal with the occult? Especially for those practicing witchcraft and the occult, demonic possession is all over our world today. But it can also happen to anyone who puts themselves into an altered state of consciousness. Here is Mark 9, which has one of many Bible passages where Jesus deals with demon possession, and this is a man in the crowd addressing Jesus: "Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit [demon] that has robbed him of speech. Whenever it seizes him, it throws him on the ground, he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. And I asked your disciples to drive out the spirit, but they could not."; Jesus replied, "You unbelieving generation.” Isn't that exactly like the world we're living in today; even including much of the Christian Church? Talk about an unbelieving generation; today we don't believe what we're reading right now about how actual demonic possession exists. But it is our reality even now and on a scale greater than anyone can imagine. Oftentimes people become demonically possessed when they get involved with the occult. I have been there, done that, and wish I hadn't bought the T-shirt. Another way to risk becoming demonically possessed is through drug use. But the good news is I was saved by calling on the name of Jesus, Who can cast out demons just like we Christians can in His name. For those not saved, accepting

[4 of 6] The Word of Faith preachers claim we can tap into whatever we want by using words expressed in mantras to bind the “God force” into fulfilling our every desire. But that’s a lie and just another false teaching they adopted from Hinduism. They even spread Christianese on it and fed it to the Christian Church. And they get away with it because few understand it's heresy since people don’t do their homework to be familiar enough with both the Bible and Hinduism. That’s how we’ve ended up in the mess we have today with the prospering Word of Faith movement. Here is WOF preacher, Frederick Price, and this one is just sick when you think about what it does to people: "How can you glorify God in your body when it doesn't function right. How can you glorify God?”

With all due respect, it's even better than a wedding; although my marriage is strong so don't misconstrue what I'm saying. My point is this: In a healthy marriage scenario, you would think the closer you get to the wedding day, the more exciting it gets, right? Now I know it's also stressful and it can get stressful before Jesus comes back too, but still the overall feeling is one of joyous anticipation, right? Without giving away the day or hour, and using Bible prophecy, God is letting us know what will happen in advance so we can be sure His book came from Him--period. It’s like this: When you were growing up, did your mom tell you things more than once, or even more than ten times? In fact, how many times did she say, "I told you a million times..." and you were maybe thinking, "Yeah mom, you probably did because, man, here we go again." Well, it’s the same with God. Throughout the Bible, with precise predictions (2000 of which have come true already), 2500 times He told us, “THIS BOOK CAME FROM ME!" So why do we want to listen to anything else! God's probably thinking, "What more do I have to give you people?" But again, with all due respect to the so-called shepherds in our Church today, if they keep Bible prophecy out of your messages, it's no wonder 50% of their congregation doubts the Bible. [4 of 4] What if we just call it "contemplative prayer,” as practiced in some Christian Churches today? You may think Hindu meditation is attractive to the world but would never snooker Christians. Unfortunately, it's been in the Church for years. Hindu evangelizing can't call it Eastern transcendental meditation. Instead, they Christianized the name. It's the same old method the devil always uses, taking old lies and repackaging the false teachings, this time with Christianese to dupe Christians into thinking the idea came from God. Meditation, now in our Church, is called "contemplative prayer.” Though it says, “prayer,” it is not from God. Still, that lie has created one of the fastest growing practices in the America Church today and it’s just plain old pagan meditation. And anyone who pushes meditation far enough, will have a spiritual encounter, but it won’t be the Spirit of God. The Bible instructs us to pray with our minds. We do contemplate (thinking deeply) while in a real conversation with God. Though that’s not what "contemplative prayer" means. It is nothing like prayer in the Church. "Contemplative prayer has slowly increased in practice and popularity among the emerging church movement—a movement which embraces many unscriptural ideas and practices.” Eastern meditation has been labeled as contemplative prayer to infiltrate Churches by claiming we will have a genuine encounter with God. Again, you eventually will connect with something, but it will not be the Spirit of God.
