IN 1972'S EISENSTADT V BAIRD THE COURTS EXPANDED MARITAL PRIVACY UNMARRIED COUPLES. THIS TIME THEY ADDED THE PHRASE "TO BEAR OR BEGET A CHILD". THE PHRASE HAD NO BEARING ON THE CASE, THEY JUST NEEDED IT SO THEY COULD USE IT NEXT YEAR IN ROE V WADE.
