[2 of 5] DO YOU WANT TO HEAR ABOUT THE FUTURE? Another sign the Bible gives that we’re living in the last days, is that the Church will go into apostasy. For those of us looking at Bible prophecy, I think sometimes we focus on the number of earthquakes rising, wars, and rumors of war; but I want to say, "Hey, don't just look on the outside of these Church walls." If we want to know we're in the last days, the Bible tells us to look inside at our own camp. Two thousand years ago, Paul wrote to Timothy about how the Church will know when we are living those last days. What he wrote must've blown Timothy's mind. Paul basically said, "Listen, can you imagine this? It's actually going to happen, man. We won't know the day or hour but hey, it's getting close when we see this: We Christians will actually still attend Church services but all we'll get from the pulpit will be fluffy stuff and stories made up.” Paul tells Timothy the last days will involve the Church gathering around themselves teachers who will just tickle their ears ("knetho" in Greek, which means only "pleasant things"). He says people will turn aside from the truth and only listen to myths or stories made up ("mythois" in Greek). During the last days, Paul is saying we'll see this mindset happen in the Church. It won't just be out in the world with all that wickedness, wars, earthquakes, famines, and pestilence; Paul says the Church will only be giving us pleasant topics and stories made up. Hey, it's a good thing we see no signs of that, right? Wrong! It's everywhere today! Regularly these days we get calls from here in the U.S., Canada, South America, Europe, and as far as Australia; always with the same legitimate complaint: "I can't find a healthy Church!" or "I can't find someone who will preach the Bible." Sometimes they'll add, "Now I'm the weird one for asking my pastor to preach the other third of the Bible (prophecy) he's been leaving out." And with many supposedly-Christian Churches, they don't even give the other two thirds. All their people hear is, "Hey, we're going to help you become a better you," or "Let's talk about how to be financially successful," or "Let's build up your self esteem.” But my Bible says we need to esteem others more than ourselves. We are to deny ourselves, pick up our cross, and follow Christ every day. Oops! Still, congregations today, gathering fluff preachers around them, are a major sign we're living in the last days. | image tagged in bible, prophecy, end times, god, jesus, christian | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WHERE EXACTLY DO WE LIKLY SEE JESUS IN THE OLD TESTAMENT? It's the important issue of “theophanies" and “Christophanies." "Theos" is God and the rest of the word means “appearances." "Christos" is "Christ" so Christophanies is the theological term meaning this: Even though Jesus took on a human-flesh virgin birth at His First Coming, a lot of theologians say, because He's eternal, prior to that time, there were preincarnate (before Christ took on a human body), experiences of Jesus Christ in the Old Testament. How can He do that? Well, He is God, which means He's eternal, being able to appear whenever He'd like. But the time we focus on is when He became a baby that grew to be a man, who saved the world by dying on a cross for our sins. A few quick Old Testament examples are these: First, the many appearances of the "Angel of the Lord."; Some say that very well could have been Jesus. And it's not alarming to say “angel" for Jesus because the term actually means "messenger," or "angelos" in Greek. So in the Old Testament instances with the "Angel of the Lord, or "messenger of the Lord," Jesus the Son delivered the message Himself. It does not mean He's an angel. Other possible appearances of Jesus in the Old Testament are Genesis Chapter 12, where the Lord appeared to Abraham. Some say that's also an example of Christophany and theophany. Genesis 18 tells us Abraham had two angel visitors, along with God himself. So some say that was probably Jesus. Genesis 32 was Jacob wrestling all night long with a man, which, instead, was God. Who do you think that probably was? Again, many would say it was probably a preincarnate Jesus. Other possibilities are in Exodus 24 and Deuteronomy 31. So examples go on and on and you can look deeper into it if you'd

DO YOU NEED TO RENEW YOUR FAITH?
One of the strangest behaviors in the American Church is how we Christians can start out on fire in our walk with God, but over time consider it a drudgery to spend time with God. What happens & is there hope? YES! Sometimes to grow as Christians we simply need to Renew Our Faith with Christ. We need to recapture the right motive for spending time with Him and stay in that understanding. The overall motive is simply to have a beautiful loving intimate personal relationship with the Creator of the Universe, and not some dry, stale, stupid, boring, man-made religion. Our study, Renewing Your Faith, encourages us to take a fresh look at why we do what we do as Christians, including Renewing Your Prayer, Worship, Service,Bible Study, Fellowship & Witness. If you've ever thought you need help as a Christian who can't grow up or who is dead as a stump, I've got good news for you. It doesn't have to be that way. Renew Your Faith to move forward in your walk with God so it can become what it was always meant to be: a beautiful loving intimate personal relationship with the Creator of the Universe! | image tagged in security, bible, christian, god, jesus, eternal | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

MUST WE TALK ABOUT HUMAN SACRIFICE?
Unfortunately, yes; because, today, human sacrifice is happening on a massive scale all over our world. In fact, every day, countries in Africa have made it into an extensive business that results in murders of men, women, and especially children. And when we study African witchcraft, it appears that much of its earlier stages are already happening in here in the U.S. In fact, a powerful promoter here has been our media purposely popularizing witchcraft. In fact, Disney is a main source with movies that glamorize African
witchcraft like, "The Lion King."; Unfortunately,
if the Lord should tarry long enough, as our
nation’s acceptance of witchcraft and occult
practices continues to grow and permeate
our land, we too will surely reach
the level of human sacrifices. And; And actually, dare I say, that kind of thing already goes on here with Americans, who are involved in witchcraft. It's something we don't want to deal with but probably will be made to at some point. Here at Get A Life Media and Sunrise Bible Church, we are examining some of it in our witchcraft study and will get more deeply into the disgusting, (but necessary), information with our future study of satanism. Also, as always, we relate studies to God's Word. But I'm convinced this same sort of horrible murder does happen today here in the United States of America, while our media contributes to the problem by refusing to report on it. At least in Africa they are talking about it now; because today,
they have been made to deal with it on a massive scale. | image tagged in witchcraft, africa, god, bible, disney, christian | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
