HAVE YOU SEEN SPIRITUAL WARFARE? One day a parishioner's grandfather had a heart attack and looked like he was not going to make it. So they called me to say, "Go witness to him!” I don’t mean to be mean but I’m thinking, "Why don't you go witness to him?" I will but we should not wait for a pastor; we should all go. Anyway, I went and started to witness in the hospital room with just me and the old gentleman; God gave us an open window. I felt led to give my testimony so I talked about how I used to really hate Christians, thinking they were just dumb duped idiots, and I tried every religion on the planet but nothing worked until the moment I cried out to Jesus. Instantly I was saved from all the demons, drugs, and immorality. I received a new heart, mind, and life! At this point the old fella was starting to tear up and I'm thinking, “Praise God!--Oh boy, yes, this is cool!” At that point the wife came in and sat in a chair across the bed. As we were at the important moment when I'm literally saying, "And would you like to pray and receive," all of a sudden his wife
stood up and became like a cat on a hot-tin roof. She kept interrupting “Oh, he’s fine,” or “Leave him alone,” every time I tried getting him back to the salvation prayer. I thought, "Whoa, what's going on?" Just when she had calmed down and I got back to, "Would you like to pray and receive,” a doctor with a red bindi dot on his forehead came in; he was a Hindu doctor. So then I knew it was full-on spiritual war for this poor guys soul! Something or someone really wanted that man to go to hell. Unfortunately that's when the visit had to end but it wasn't the end of this story. Some days later, the same grandson who asked me to go to the hospital, also had me perform the funeral. At that solemn occasion, a brother of the old man who had passed, came up and thanked me, (too which I normally try pointing appreciation to God). I asked why? He said his brother had completely changed right before he died. So I can't say for certain, but it sounds like, just before dying a few days earlier, the old fella got past the spiritual warfare, started trusting in the Lord, and found that
same peace I had received many years earlier. | image tagged in spirit, warfare, god, bible, christian, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WHERE EXACTLY DO WE LIKLY SEE JESUS IN THE OLD TESTAMENT? It's the important issue of “theophanies" and “Christophanies." "Theos" is God and the rest of the word means “appearances." "Christos" is "Christ" so Christophanies is the theological term meaning this: Even though Jesus took on a human-flesh virgin birth at His First Coming, a lot of theologians say, because He's eternal, prior to that time, there were preincarnate (before Christ took on a human body), experiences of Jesus Christ in the Old Testament. How can He do that? Well, He is God, which means He's eternal, being able to appear whenever He'd like. But the time we focus on is when He became a baby that grew to be a man, who saved the world by dying on a cross for our sins. A few quick Old Testament examples are these: First, the many appearances of the "Angel of the Lord."; Some say that very well could have been Jesus. And it's not alarming to say “angel" for Jesus because the term actually means "messenger," or "angelos" in Greek. So in the Old Testament instances with the "Angel of the Lord, or "messenger of the Lord," Jesus the Son delivered the message Himself. It does not mean He's an angel. Other possible appearances of Jesus in the Old Testament are Genesis Chapter 12, where the Lord appeared to Abraham. Some say that's also an example of Christophany and theophany. Genesis 18 tells us Abraham had two angel visitors, along with God himself. So some say that was probably Jesus. Genesis 32 was Jacob wrestling all night long with a man, which, instead, was God. Who do you think that probably was? Again, many would say it was probably a preincarnate Jesus. Other possibilities are in Exodus 24 and Deuteronomy 31. So examples go on and on and you can look deeper into it if you'd
like to learn more about those kind of Christology issues. | image tagged in christ, old testament, bible, jesus, god, christian | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

DO YOU HAVE INTIMACY WITH GOD? The American Church is under attack and the Body of Christ has fallen under a horrible epidemic where supposed believers in God no longer do. Believe it or not, we now have Churches full of people who are living like practical atheists. We say we believe in God, but half the time, with our lips and lives, we act like He's not even there. This is not only detrimental to our walk with God, it also keeps others from believing in Him. To avoid this irony of Christian's living like practical atheists, our series, "The Intimacy of God," reveals that, even though God is Independent and Immense, He still wants a personal relationship with each one of us. And if you truly understand this, it will Change Your Prayers, Singing, Walk, and Loneliness. This is the awesome message we have the privilege to tell to the nations: God not only exists, but through Jesus Christ, people really can have an intimate personal relationship with the Creator of the universe!? However, if the world is ever going to believe our message, then you and I must stop acting like practical atheists and start demonstrating by our lips, as well as our lives, that God is Personal. | image tagged in god, relationship, jesus, bible, intimacy, christian | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

HOW ARE CHARISMATICS IN THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH, AND HINDUISM, THE SAME?
Hinduism has a core practice they call “Upanishads,” which is the practice of mystical interpretations. But we know private interpretations allow anyone to claim anything, like, "Well, I think what that involves is the humanity of the thing-a-ma-deal concerning the majig idea known through post-existential thought.” Though I made no sense, with all due respect, here's how it normally goes from there with mystical interpretations: after reciting my lofty oratory that you were just lucky to hear, if I put on a fancy robe and act deeply ethereal while looking down on others because I know everything and they're lowly dumb dumbs, then I can be a part of the higher priestly class. That's really what it is with the whole religiosity system that gets convoluted to the point that only certain people can let us know what our beliefs and practices need to be. Unfortunately, we have people in the Church today who do the same thing. As we detail extensively in our study, "Charismatic Chaos," today we're being told by a sect of Christianity called the hyper-charismatics, that we don't have the ability to read the Bible for ourselves. Instead, we need to attend certain schools across America to learn how to be true prophets of God who use spiritual techniques to have a "spiritual encounter with God,” which actually gets people into an altered state of consciousness (a Hindus teaching), to make contact with spirits (that are not God). Still hyper-charismatics tell us it’s the way to "understand” a “true" deeper meaning behind the Bible. Unfortunately, that is rampant all over the Church today but it's just a trick to dupe people into getting away from the biblical truth God
already supplied in a book anyone can read for themselves. | image tagged in charismatic, church, hinduism, god, bible, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

DO PEOPLE ASK YOU FOR PROOF OF GOD? [1 of 3]
Well, here’s some: how about God's track record with His predictions (prophecies)? I want to give you a couple examples but just know that, so far, God has fulfilled over 2000 predictions He made that we can read about in the Bible. And God's predictions aren’t vague like those of psychics. Yet, even with very specific prophecies, God has been 100% correct and His remaining 500 predictions are all lining up right now in these last days. In Daniel 2, God predicted the rise of nations, telling us these four future empires in historical order: Babylon, Medo-Persian, Greece, and then Rome. God also predicted the fall of nations. In the Bible's book of Nahum, God predicted Nineveh would be permanently destroyed by fire, easily captured, their army officers would desert, and those officers would even be drunk in their final hours. As specific as God was, of course it happened just that way. Archaeologists have not only discovered Nineveh, but also uncovered a layer of ash in its ruins, showing it was destroyed by fire. Also, ancient Babylonian records reveal how Nineveh was easily overtaken and that their officers fled the scene. Another Greek historian records how the king gave much wine to his soldiers that night, causing them to be drunk. It was exactly as God said it would be and that prediction was not your average psychic-type generalized con like, "You're going to meet someone new.” | image tagged in prophecy, prediction, god, bible, christian, proof | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
