[Part 2 of 3]
Here's another important point: Why are half the people in the Church today professing to be Christians yet they don't know if they can trust the Bible? Why are they not confident in God's Word? It's because they're not being taught Bible prophecy, which makes up 1/3 of the Bible. With all due respect to your pastor (and I am one), I want to ask them this: How can you sit there and say you're being a faithful shepherd if you deliberately and purposely keep 1/3 of the Bible from your congregation? How would those here at Sunrise Bible Church react if I said this:; "Hey guys, as your pastor you know I love you and only want the best for you; with that in mind and for your own good, I want to announce I’m tearing out 1/3 of my Bible that you and I don't need to hear; it's all just doom and gloom. And I want you to do the same to yours right now." If I said that, what should they do? They should immediately kick me out! And because that’s true, why is it acceptable for pastors (from the pulpit) to deliberately refuse to equip their people with 1/3 of the Scriptures? Pastors today won’t preach about how Bible prophecy demonstrates the authenticity of the Bible, which then proves it truly came from God because only He knows the future! Whether Old or New Testament, Bible prophecy is God loudly declaring, "Hey, I wrote this book! I did what man cannot do: over and over I predicted future events that you've seen come to pass!” | image tagged in bible, prophecy, prediction, future, god, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

SCIENTOLOGY AND THE OCCULT TEACHINGS OF L. RON HUBBARD; According to L. Ron Hubbard, founder of Scientology, humans were seeded onto earth by "General Xenu" of the "Galactic Federation.” Hubbard claimed that is true history and not one of his thousands of fiction stories. But then he also said the way to make a lot of money was to start a religion. Hubbard was into witchcraft and, all though he was a decent science fiction writer, he was certainly no friend of the truth.

DO CHRISTIANS STAND ON AN AUTHORITY OUTSIDE THE BIBLE? We face challenges with cults and religions that get outside the Bible, even though many will still claim they believe it. In practice, however, Scripture is not what they follow. And let me step on more toes even closer to home; this same mistake is going on in the Christian Church today. We sit with our doctrinal statements confirming that the Bible is the final rule of faith and practice, (Sola Scriptura), but is that really what we practice? Often today, the answer is “no." What I have witnessed where ever I've pastored, especially these days, is that the Bible does not determine the lives of Christians. What does? It's the secular educational system and media, personal opinion, and peer pressure. Those are today's determining factors, even for Christians. To support those views, we go
into the Bible looking for loopholes, twist verses, and take passages out of context because there is societal pressure, or we just want something be true so we attempt to squeeze it into the Scriptures. That's unfortunate and shows that Christians are in danger of doing the same thing these other faiths have done, going outside the Bible. As we saw in our study, "Charismatic Chaos," charismatic fringe groups are doing the same thing with their prophet and prophetess claims. Their so-called modern-day prophets supposedly have an ability to get a "new word" from God. How is that any different than what goes on with h Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventists, Roman Catholicism’s popes and committees, and the rest? It's the same as Christians in the Church today, who also get outside the Scripture. | image tagged in christian, charismatic, bible, scripture, god, authority | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

[Part 3 of 3] Unlike God's prophetic ability, our study of "World Religions, Cults & the Occult," has shown that man cannot be successful in his prophecies. God made 2500 predictions, which He gave us through the Bible. Over 2000 having been fulfilled already. With prophecy, God is saying, "I wrote this book! You cannot say it came from man because logically I did what only the Supreme Being, (who is above and beyond time, seeing the beginning from the end), can do. I made thousands of predictions before the events later happened; many of which I gave in great detail."; God's prophecies give very specific details; unlike psychics that only throw out vague predictions like, “I see you meeting someone new.” Ya think? Give me a break! It's crazy how ambiguous they are, just leaving people to fill in the blanks. But God predictions are full of detail and then He nails the outcome every single time. So is it any wonder that those in the Christian Church who are not taught Bible prophecy start to doubt the Scriptures? Bible prophecy isn't just about what our future is going to be like; prophecy proves God wrote the Bible. I really think the neglect of feeding the flock from the whole Bible, especially Bible prophecy, is part and parcel of why much of the Church today is doubting the Bible. Again, over 2000 prophecies from Scripture have already been fulfilled. | image tagged in god, prophecy, prediction, jesus, bible, future | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
