![HOW DOES HINDUISM COMPARE TO CHRISTIANITY? [1 OF 3] All faiths except biblical Christianity are works-based because people want to FEEL more spiritual by doing anything religious. So religions like Hinduism take advantage of that mindset by having their followers perform rituals to supposedly appease the 300 million Hindu gods (demons). Man’s need for religiosity allows religions to control people, just as Hindu priests did in early Hinduism, growing in power by holding follower's escape from “Karma" over their heads. Karma is the endless loop of us supposedly living one life after another (their false teaching of reincarnation). And that same works-based dynamic is taught across the planet through world religions and cults. Outside Bible Christianity, the other faiths hold the afterlife over devotees' heads to push them toward the organization's goals. Around 600 B.C. the Hindu people revolted against the priests’ control, changing Hinduism to a more individual-focused faith with personal meditation, pursuing an altered state of consciousness to connect with the Hindu gods (demons), as a means to supposedly escape reincarnation. Some still want a guru to tell them how to be most religious. Meditation was NOT invented as a way to reduce stress. We can go straight Him without rituals because all the work has already been done FOR us by Christ. In Hebrews, John says Christians have the freedom to go with boldness directly to God, always
finding Grace and help from Him in our time of need. Isn't that mind blowing!? To me those words feel like they are coming off the pages. John is amazed at the thought that we Christians are actually CHILDREN of GOD. Can you believe that—after all the bad things we've done?! Romans 5 talks about how, as ungodly sinners (before getting saved), we hated God. And God certainly didn't need us. But He still chose to die for us so that we can become what we are today: His actual children, Christians. And it's all free. There's no priest to go through and no techniques to perform because it's all been taken care of. Even with the huge differences we saw in Christianity verses Hinduism (just like all the other works-based faiths), we often hear this sort of unresearched statement: “All religions mostly teach the same stuff." No! That's a lie! Christianity is absolutely unique and is the only way. But still to this day, in his depravity, Satan has invented; a myriad of false paths to confuse people away from Jesus. And the devil does so out of pure evil, wanting all he can dupe to join him in the Lake of Fire. Satan knows he's lost. He's was a loser when Jesus beat him on the cross. But Satan has teamed up with humans (who seek power and money), to deceive people all the way into an eternity in hell. The alternative is to accept the free gift of salvation given to us by Jesus' work on the cross. Those present at the time described absolute chaos with all in attendance wanting to preach, and most everyone did. Nobody stopped to ask for a testimony to even see if the speakers were saved. Even some local witches and sorcerers preached. Seymour realized who they were and stopped them from preaching but they continued to attend and practice their weird worship during the service. Also weird for a Church service, were reports of kissing between unmarried persons. Seymour had no biblical education because his teacher, Parham, had little, just as Parham's teachers, Dowie and Sandford, had little to none. Besides them, the New Thought founder and root of the Word of Faith movement, Phineas Qimby had none, which meant his trainees, Mary Baker Eddy (Christian Science founder) and Warren Felt Evans, were also lacking biblical training. On top of that and going forward, Aimee Semple McPherson, who most all Pentecostal and Word of Faith denominations come from, also lacked a biblical education. When you trace the history of the Word of Faith movement, here's the result of all those people: WOF was basically founded by biblically-UNTRAINED leaders who were not in the Bible and instead learned from PAGANS AND CULTS. Still, even with that non-biblical foundation, today they not only claim to be spiritual, but even more spiritual than other Christians, who they say are missing out on their teachings. Besides the false teachings, in this way they create still more division in the Church. Why do they do so? It's because they’re pushing false teachings that most don’t realize are actually just repackaged Hinduism. Jesus said His priority was to destroy the works of the devil and to save us from sin. Frederick Price: "The apostles were businessmen. They were rich men that had plenty of money… Only rich people could take off for three and a half years… That's the reason why I drive a Rolls Royce. I'm following Jesus’ steps.”; But the Bible says, "In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories made up." Creflo Dollar: "I'm telling you, Jesus wasn't poor, and… Jesus didn't have no rags on. He wore designer clothes, honey!” Robert Tilton: "The only time people were poor in the Bible is when they were under a curse... Being poor is a sin.” But the Bible says this about Jesus giving up everything to come to earth as a poor man: “Though Jesus was rich, yet for your sake he became poor…” Just like Word of Faith preachers, there is another group of religious leaders who also live a lavish lifestyle, while teaching those who sent them all that money, that they too can become wealthy if they'd only practice the right force of faith with their words. But that's what sda is up to with their false works-based gospel, which is nothing new and just a repackaging of the same old heresy from way back at the beginning of the Church. SDA is not helping anyone and is instead putting people under a curse. That's what the Scripture says. You know, we can't even keep the first commandment. How many of us have loved the Lord our God with all your heart, mind, and strength every single day, perfectly? Don't say you have, or you'll also be guilty of violating the ninth commandment against lying. I'm just trying to help you. But my point is that we can't even make it past one requirement to achieve our own salvation without Jesus. It ain't gonna happen. We need Christ. It's the same with the Mormons. It's just another works-based cult. Cults are always works based! They start by getting their source of authority wrong and then all their other doctrine tumbles downhill from there. As you read it, keep in mind the Hindu false teachings about chanting mantras to supposedly attain perfect health and wealth. These false teachers really like to flip out when people say anything negative like the fact that we might feel a bit sick today. Their admonishment of us would go something like this: "Don't say that! You’ll make yourself sick! Don't you realize your words have power?"; But all that hype is just Hindu beliefs reflected in the behavior of the followers of Hinduism, New Age, and the Word of Faith movement. The latter is actually in the Christian Church. Here’s Marilyn Hickey: "Say to your body, 'You're whole, body! Why, you just function so beautifully and so well...you never have any problems. You're a strong, healthy body.' Or speak to your leg, or speak to your foot, or speak to your neck, or speak to your back.”
She might want to speak to a psychiatrist! I'm sorry, but this stuff is just crazy. She continues:
