DO WE HAVE AN ELEMENT IN THE CHURCH TODAY THAT LIKES TO DEMONSTRATE EXTREME SPIRITUALITY? Yes, some really want to show their charismatic side. I am not anti-emotion and love that we have a personal relationship with God. In fact, with our "Character of God" series, we did studies on “The Existence of God" and "The Intimacy of God," among other aspects. They are all about how we can have a personal relationship with the Supreme Being! It still blows me away that, no matter how huge and awesome our Creator of the universe is, I still have a personal relationship with Him. But it's not about a hyped-up experience where, if we aren’t regularly demonstrating intense emotion like someone else might, then somehow we’re not as spiritual. | image tagged in god, christian, bible, jesus, praise, church | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

CAN WE ACHIEVE PERFECT HEALTH?
[6 of 6] Word of Faith preachers on television promise perfect health, which is the same false hope from Hindu gurus. In fact, it’s why Hindu gurus won't help people starving to death on the side of the road; even though the guru may be driving by in an ultra-rich vehicle, just like wealthy Word of Faith preachers who brag about owning a Rolls Royce or other expensive cars? The Hindu guru drives by, ignoring the
indigent, because he claims those people are
in that situation from their own karma;
they must have committed some sin in
a past life that they're keeping secret. And
supposedly that's why they deserve this
suffering in the ditch, often until dead.
Even that evil is built into these false
teachings from the Word of Faith movement.
It's just repackaged Hinduism. | image tagged in health, healing, hindu, god, bible, fraud | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

IS "WORD OF FAITH," JUST HINDUISM?
[2 of 4] Whether you know much about Word-of-Faith preachers or not, it is rampant
in the Christian Church today; just know that when you see them
on Christian television, the whole
thing is demonic. They are not
only ripping off well-meaning
(but uninformed) folks in the Church,
most often it is the poorest
Christians taken advantage of. Whether it’s Hindu gurus or
their counterparts, American
Word of Faith teachers,
the only difference is that
the latter just sprinkle Christianese
on the Hindu sales pitch.
Folks want to believe the man (or woman)
on television is going to help them
get out of their struggles,
(as he claims he will). Instead, just like the gurus in India, these guys are grabbing
people's cash, and it is even rampant in the Church today. | image tagged in god, bible, hindu, preacher, jesus, demonic | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

IS "WORD OF FAITH," IN THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH, JUST HINDUISM?
[1 of 4] Even a secular world can see Word of Faith preachers as the hucksters they are. Day after day, they get on television, claiming we can have a perfect life full of riches beyond our most ambitious dreams, just as the gurus in India promise Hindus. Both the Word of Faith people and Hindu gurus also promise perfect health. Still, the Church today is silent about these people in our midst. And what is the result? Second Peter tells us it brings the truth of Christianity into shameful disrepute. We must call a spade a spade! Peter speaks to us, the future Christian Church: "In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them and their destruction has not been sleeping.” In other words, we don't want to be around them when the hammer comes down. | image tagged in christian, church, god, jesus, bible, hindu | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

HOW MANY U.S. CITIZENS PRACTICE THE UNSAFE HINDU RITUAL OF YOGA?
It has become extremely popular in the United States with past estimates at 20 to 35 million Americans. Still worse, 44% of all Americans say they are "interested in trying it." With a U.S. population over 330 million, that tells us that over 145 million are
willing to give Hinduism a shot. And whether they
would call themselves Hindus or not, this Hindu
practice is designed to open spiritual doors—
demonic doors. So, unknowingly, close to
half the U.S. has been deceived into the desire
for opening up to a connection with demons. Maybe that explains why the Bible (Revelation 9) tells us societal conditions in these last days will get so stinking bad that, even after all God’s judgements to come on the earth, people will still not repent, as they even worship demons. Can you imagine our whole planet being in connection with demons!? I wonder what practice they'll use? Yes, yoga will be one of many methods to get people into an altered state of consciousness, thus opening doors to demons, whether folks are seeking that connection or not. | image tagged in yoga, hindu, demon, god, bible, united states | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
