From the book "The Life Of Elijah" written in early to mid 30's. Arthur Pink was born April 1, 1886 in Nottingham, England & had a horrific childhood of severe abuse that I won't detail but is the reason he could only see God's sovereignty the way he did in his early years. When a glass has been shattered it can't hold water & likewise a heart that's been shattered can't receive love. He thought this was how it had to be & taught it without candy coating it. After a certain amount of years as God did inner healing to repair his soul he then began to see how God could be sovereign with allowance for choice. He first abandoned dispensationalism and was 4 point then ended at no more than 3 point with the proper Biblical understanding and even abundant life. Now "Reformed Theology" 5 point Calvinist teachers brought his name out since he was virtually unknown in his lifetime & love to push his early writings to use to keep people spellbound by "God's glory" & "sovereignty" & his stuff is very popular with 5 point Calvinists. Reformed teachers don't mention his later stuff. They're exploiting him to feather their own nests; Thankfully the Holy Spirit is light years smarter than them & will use their evil intentions to nudge people into his later writings & bring them out of this trash. He Also Abandoned It | Charles Spurgeon had some good sermons in his early years as well but was a hardcore Calvinist early on. He was raised in it by parents who didn't mean harm but were indoctrinated themselves. Like a shattered glass can't hold water and a shattered heart can't receive love, neither can a person comprehend doctrines they weren't taught. He was taught 5 point Calvinism throughout his entire childhood & really thought it was absolute & didn't mean harm. He started very young & god cleaned up the internal areas that were saturated with this understanding & then he began to see some good real fruits coming from professed Arminians & some bad fruit coming from professed Calvinists & realized the truth. Reformed leaders won't tell you this either.
