Veige herself neither confirmed nor denies this. Despite the oblivious and snarky exterior, Veige is a lot smarter than she looks or acts and is very dark and slightly pessimistic. Surprisingly, Veige was once married to Yue, a woman who she met 12 years ago. Yue died four years ago due to a mysterious illness. Yue was rumored to be a biologist that met Veige at her job.
