Lovely wedding tale from circa 2009 | 1.) Indian-American bridesmaid peppered with slurs by racist, drunk cousin of (White) bride at wedding reception. 2.) Her (Indian) husband gets in his face and tells him to leave her alone. 3.) Outside, drunk cousin’s drunk brother threatens to find out where they live and kill her husband. 4.) She responds with profanity-laced tirade. 5.) Drunk brother throws her to ground, then grabs friend Claudia by neck and throws her down. 6.) Brothers flee scene with bride’s parents and others watching. 7.) Cops threaten to shut down reception if report filed. 8.) Groom tells bridesmaid, “you better not f***ing ruin this wedding,” so no report filed. 9.) Incident ultimately overshadows wedding for the guests.
