HOW AWESOME IS THE WISDOM OF GOD? The American Church is under attack, with the Body of Christ having fallen under a horrible epidemic where believers in God no longer believe in Him. Churches are full of folks living like practical atheists. We say we believe in God, but half the time we act like He's not even there. We do so with our lips and with our lives, which also keeps others from believing in God. To avoid this irony of Christians living like practical atheists, our study, “The Wisdom of God,” shows us that God knows the beginning from the end, which saves us from being led astray, from being blasphemers of God, and from being left behind. Second, God Is above and beyond time, which means there is no such thing as an accident or chance, not even where you work or live, who you married, and when you die. Third, there is no such thing as bad advice from God. These are awesome messages we have the privilege to tell the nations. God not only exists, but through Jesus Christ people really can have an intimate personal relationship with the Creator of the universe!? DOES GOD THE FATHER HAVE A PHYSICAL BODY? Genesis tells us man was created in the “image” of God, so some twist the idea to claim God the Father has a body. But that is not what the Bible is talking about. That false assertion comes from corrupt sources outside the Bible. Us being made in God's image is not referring to a physical body because God the Father does not have a body. John 4:24 tells us, "God is Spirit." We are not made in His image bodily! Instead, it is both morally and spiritually. Besides God giving humans some understanding of His morality, like Him we were also given a spirit that we will continue to use for our existence through the rest of eternity. The latter is why all of mankind, throughout every age, will exist forever. However, because of our God-given free will to choose whether we love or reject our Creator, by our own individual choice, each of our dwelling spots after this life on earth will be forever in one of only two places—with God or away from Him—heaven or hell. Because we have an eternal nature, one or the other will be the future for us, our ancestors, and all future humans. There is no annihilation after this life, as some false religions and cults teach.
